Description of the Boston vacation b&b rental

Located in Boston's Little Italy by the waterfront, our elegant but affordable suites offer a European setting and convenient access to downtown. Our 4th and 5th floor rooms are bright and airy, some with balconies and city skyline views. All rooms include a private bath, TV and DVD player, as well as complimentary wireless service and access to the kitchen area. Our rates are per room and include all taxes and a self-serve complimentary breakfast.

Area Information

Wander the North End's winding streets, visit the home of Paul Revere or Old North Church, sample delectable food or check the wares at the many boutiques all within a few blocks of La Cappella Suites.

We are also in walking distance of Faneuil Hall, the financial district, TD Banknorth Garden, New England Aquarium, theater district, as well as universities, hospitals and government offices. We are just minutes from the subway and access to Fenway Park, the Museum of Fine Arts, Symphony Hall, Back Bay and the rest of Boston.

The North End is the oldest neighborhood in the city and rich in historic sites, with the Freedom Trail passing just down the street. The neighborhood has an old world charm and a village-like feel that is friendly, warm and safe.

Construction in the Building

May 16, 2013

The owner had said the building would be under construction a few days before we were planned to leave. There was jackhammering and loud hammering at 730 am in the morning. The needed to get inside the house and left the door open the rest of the day with all of our stuff inside. Apartment smelled like smoke.

second floor suite

We loved the pretty and interesting building where we stayed. The location is great for exploring the Freedom Trail and Little Italy. The city water taxi stop #18 is very close and the North Subway stop is not too far to walk. This info I found after much research on my own. The second floor suite was lovely for a couple---a little bit tight for more than that. We were told to supply our own breakfast items as the breakfast is not included, so we were fine with that. The suite contains a fridge, microwave and coffee/tea fixings. There were 3 bowls, 2 coffee mugs and spoons. When I asked for an extra bowl because we had 4 people and we had purchased breakfast cereal, our request was not well received. No food allowed on 2nd floor suite. I think this info should be clarified for future guests-perhaps remove the microwave and bowls as this is confusing. However, the suite was very clean, comfortable bed and quiet location. The price is good and we had no problems with using the key codes-even though I was a bit nervous about arriving at an un-manned location. The staff/inn keeper was easily available by phone when needed and all of our requests were quickly granted.

Wonderful Place

We had an amazing time in Boston over St. Patty's. My husband and I celebrated our 1st anniversary with friends and family and it was great to all be in the same place. We couldn't have asked for a better location and view! I do have 2 complaints though...not huge issues but enough to mention. The refrigerator/freezer needs repair or update, it didn't keep our food cold or freeze ice cubes. Secondly, when we check in on Friday, there was floor finishing going on the floor below us. The fumes were so strong we had to leave the apartment until the smell was gone. It was so potent that a few of us were light headed. Luckily it cleared out by the time we returned a few hours later. Thanks for listening and thanks for a great stay. We will absolutely look to stay again!
