The Best of Everything
September 13, 2012
Ed and Rosa are two very talented and special people who did everything possible to make us feel right at home. We spent a week in their quiet and cozy unit. The fully equipped Kitchen allowed us to spend our evenings quietly relaxing rather than having to drive somewhere for dinner. After a full and busy day of carving this was a treat. One evening Rosa surprised us with a tray of Tacos and Rice and Beans. They were so beautifully done and tasted Wonderful. The Deer, Wild Turkeys and Humming Birds just outside our Window were a joy to watch. The quiet and peaceful surroundings were great for sleeping and we left rested and refreshed. We are already looking forward to another visit, hopefully soon

Super Rental
September 19, 2011
I rented from Ed and Rosa for one year. November 2008 to October 2009. I would still be there now except I was forced to move back to the Milwaukee area due to health problems. They are the nicest people to rent from and the rental unit fit my needs perfectly. Off the beaten path but still close to everything. I greatly enjoyed seeing the deer and turkeys in the yard and once there were two bears.

Wonderful stay!!
August 3, 2011
Ed and Rosa are the most wonderful hosts. We stayed for three nights but are looking forward to a longer stay next year. They are not on the water but the property is beautiful and are very close to bike and hiking trails. We saw this years twin fawns and the trio of turkeys that hang around the property. Rosa keeps multiple hummingbird feeders and they are everywhere. If you are in to biking, hiking or bird watching this place is for you. If you want to fish you can take your boat a short distance to the lake or fish from shore. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked.

Rustic & Cozy, EZ Access to Bike Trails
August 16, 2010
This was a perfect location for our cycling vacation. From here we rode the beautiful paved bicycle trails 20 miles to St. Germain for lunch and then back on one day. Beautiful lake views along the trails. It is also a great HQ location to do some swimming, kayaking, or fishing too in the surrounding state forest. Exceptional hosts - comfortable and "northwoodsy" accomodations. We enjoyed seeing the deer, and turkeys, and hummingbirds whever we were relaxing at the cottage.
