Description of the Bourg d'Oisans vacation villa rental

This large home sleeps 8 persons comfortably and is located in the center of Bourg d'Oisans which is the cycling mekka in Europe. Famous Tour de France climbs at your doorstep: Alpe d'Huez, Croix de Fer, Galibier, Les 2 Alpes, plus loads of lesser known climbs to come try your legs on.

The house sleeps 8 comfortably, more is possible. Children beds available. Kitchen fully equipped, but breakfast is possible too across the street (additional cost) and the pizzeria is right next door.

There is a large yard, with table tennis and other pass-times. A large garage to store your bicycles safely.

Area Description

Bourg d'Oisans is a touristic village in the French Alpes. It is located at 45 km East of Grenoble. Airports are Grenoble and Lyon and a little further away Geneva.

The village organises many cycling events and other activities for tourists during summer season, with live music in the evening as well as activities for children.

Bourg d'Oisans is in the Oisans valley with direct access to famous climbs. The house is at 1 mile from the base of the climb to Alpe d'Huez !

The village has a public swimming pool, tennis courts, 9-hole golf courses at 15 km, 18-hole golf courses at 25 km.

Combine 1 week in Bourg d'Oisans with a few days in either Paris and/or Cote d'Azur and you have a super French vacation....
