This holiday accommodation is furnished to a very high standard with a wide range of essential equipment to make the most of your break in the South-West. Not far from the lovely shopping area of Southbourne Grove with it’s eclectic mix of high street shops and unusual gift shops, cafes, bakeries, bars and clubs. Ideal for couples, small families and professionals a homely atmosphere in a contemporary setting.
Two bedrooms - a double with en-suite shower room and a twin-single. Full size family bathroom; open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with all the applicances and equipment you need for a short-break or a longer stay.

Area Information
The main area of Southbourne is Southbourne Grove, a long shopping street that has some unique and individual shops rather than high street chain shops. Shops include a butcher, a bakery, numerous cafés, hairdressers, convenience stores, homewares, gift shops, the post office, and many estate agents.

Further along towards Hengistbury Head is Southbourne Crossroads. At this crossroads are a public house,(now closed) used car dealership,(now a bed shop) a surf shop, a café, hairdressers and news agent.

For activity in the local area Seafield Gardens, which has held the prestigious Green Flag Award since 2001, offers bowls, tennis and features a watertower. One tourist feature of Southbourne is the Fisherman's Walk Cliff Railway, a funicular railway between the clifftop coastal road and the promenade and beach. This provides very easy access to Southbourne's Blue Flag beach, from which it is possible to reach the beaches at Boscombe and Bournemouth.

Southbourne is still a busy area for tourists keen to escape the busier areas of Bournemouth town centre, the number of guest houses and new build apartment buildings in the area has grown in recent years. Many apartment blocks such as Blue Waters have developed into self catering holiday lets open all year round.

The easternmost part of the area is called Hengistbury Head.

Fantastic apartment, all the mod cons and very clean. My husband and I have just a 13 night stay here and it it was great! The owner met us at check-in and showed us around the apartment. We were surprised to find all the mod-cons we needed and felt a bit silly with all our pans, cutlery, tea-towels etc in tow!! EVERYTHING you need to cook is here! Even the salt and pepper! The owner was very polite, informed of of the local shops and places to eat; and after quickly showing us around left us to enjoy the apartment. Linen was crisp and clean, bathrooms were perfectly clean and Internet worked first time! I have already posted the link to this site on my f b account! I cant speak highly enough of this terrific holiday apartment. Oh... did i mention you can see the sea at the front of the building and its only 2 mins walk to the quiet beaches of Southbourne! Perfect for an evening walk after dinner or to relax the days away without screaming kids! Will I recommend my family and friends; or anyone else for the matter? = YES.

We found this apartment to be very clean , and very well equipped, I can't think of a thing you would need that was not there. The beds and bedding were comfortable, and there was plenty of wardrobe space and drawers for clothing. The kitchen area was equipped with good quality fixtures and fittings. Crockery, cutlery etc. were of good standard. The apartment is very well situated for several major tourist attractions, it is a short drive to the New Forest, and lovely country towns such as Ringwood, and Wimbourne. The nearby beaches are a great asset, and one can walk long distances along the sea front. I had only one problem, I am large, and have a problem with my knees, and could not get into the shower, because of the step up and the door being quite narrow. But that is just me!.

My family and I have just returned from a lovely week in Southbourne. A week that was made all the more enjoyable by our accommodation. Having 2 young children in tow, we were relieved to find that the apartment was clean - very clean, bright and furnished to a high standard. The apartment had all the mod cons too (including a coffee machine for making fresh coffee!!), so after a quick supermarket stop, we were ready to start our vacation! We loved that we could see the sea from the building and could take a 2 minute walk to get to the beach. It's not too far from the shops either! Safety, security, cleanliness, mod cons are what you would expect from a holiday rental and we had all of these at Bluewaters. Would we stay there again? Absolutely! Infact, we're hoping to book again soon!

We spent one week at seven blue water and was really pleased with our chosen accommodation. It was really clean (I have a crawler and usually the slightest bit of dirt shows up on his knees!). everything was new, and a really nice size. We were a family of four and it was perfect. Great location too. Owners so helpful too when we left our coats there, as he carefully packaged them and posted them home to us. Lovely shower in the en-suite and efficient hot water. The only thing I would say is that there could be soap provided as we needed the toilet when we arrived and couldn't wash our hands! Also, from the photo I was under the wrong impression that the balcony faced the sea but instead it faced the car park.

We have just spent Christmas in the apartment and had a great time - despite the weather! Steve welcomed us on our arrival and gave us instructions on the appliances in the flat. We were provided with all the essentials, milk, tea, instant coffee, etc.and also extras such as fruit, chocolate biscuits, and coffee for the coffee machine - all much appreciated. Steve and Ann had thought of everything - I've never seen such a well stocked kitchen in a holiday home. We cooked a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings with no trouble. The flat was clean and beautifully furnished and the underfloor heating was a real bonus. The beds were comfortable and again everything was provided - towels, hair dryers and bath robes. The location was great for us as we could visit my mother in the nearby care home. Despite the weather we managed some lovely cliff-top walks and had a couple of lunches in the Spyglass and Kettle which is quite close. Would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to be back. The flat was lovely, very clean and with everything you would need whilst away for a few days. We stayed here with our 2 children (3 years & 14 months) and it was spacious enough for the 4 of us and safe for the children, which is very important for me. The area was lovely and quiet and for an apartment block we never heard the neighbours or people in the communal areas late at night. The apartment is a very short walk from Southbourne beech which is really lovely, and the kids had hours of fun building their sand castles. We primarily chose this location as it was a reasonable distance by car from Peppa Pig World, The New Forrest and Weymouth SeaLife Centre which were the places we wanted to visit during our stay. Overall a very warm, comfortable, convenient place to stay and we would definitely stay here again if we are ever down that way in the future. We had a very enjoyable stay here as a family of 4. The Flat was very clean and well presented.Everything in the flat seemed to be nearly new. Steve was waiting for us at check in and was very helpful.The high chair and cot were set up for us.The children particularly like the reclining chairs.We did have to move a few of the more delicate items/ornaments and the bind cords out of the reach from our 20 month old. We liked the flat very much. Steve was so nice and helped us whenever he could. The equipment of the flat was excellent. We were glad having the coffee machine, even Steve had bought coffee and milk when we arrived. We felt there homely and loved it going down to the sea and have a long walk at the beach. We enjoyed a lovely week in the property as the sun rises to the side of the property the apartment remained cool at all times. It is in a very quiet area set back from the beach which is a short walk away. Steve greeted us on arrival and explained all the 'need to knows'. The flat was very clean and modern. We had everything we needed and more already there waiting for us there (toilet paper, clean towels, hair dryers, even washing up liquid!). The appliances were superb (even a washer dryer). The flat was safe for our small children ( both under 2 years old). Location was excellent, walking distance from the beach and local shops. We were in easy driving distance to Christchurch, Bournemouth and Swanage. All in all a very happy holiday for us. Many thanks.

We had a great holiday in this apartment, location is great for the beach and Bournemouth attractions. It is fully equipped with dishes cooking pots, pans and utensils. Two bathrooms, plenty of wardrobe space. Towels and linen all supplied. You just need yourself and food, co-op just up the road had all you needed. We used that to get fresh bread and croissants each day. Will definitely recommend and we will go back as well. Holiday taken July 2012.
