Description of the Brackley Beach vacation home rental

Located on the favoured north shore of PEI, only 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Charlottetown. This waterfront, single storey, 3 bedroom vacation home sits on 3/4 acre lot with glorious views across Brackley Bay to the sand dunes of the National Provincial Park. With easy access to the Bay, which is perfect for kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing or bird watching.

The house has 3 double bedrooms that sleep 6. Main bedroom has 1 queen bed. Second bedroom has 1 queen bed. Third bedroom has 2 twin beds. (Can be set up as 1 king bed upon request)

Nearest sandy beach is only 2 minutes by car (complimentary Park permit provided) and 10 golf courses are within 5-30 mins drive.

Would make a memorable vacation for families and couples.

Prince Edward Island is blessed with 800 kms (500 miles) of the warmest beaches north of the Carolinas. Every one of the 90 sandy strips of heaven is unique.
The nearest beaches to Tigh-Na-Mara are Brackley Beach and Stanhope - where, even in high season, there is so much space you will have no trouble laying down your towel or putting up your beach chairs.

Only minutes away are activities such as horse trails, cycling, miniture golf and the Drive-In movie theatre.

Charlottetown, the historic birthplace of Canada, is a 20 minutes drive and has many activities to amuse all the family ranging from walking tours, Harbour Hippo tours, double decker London bus tours, horse drawn carriage rides and an abundance of restaurants.

Cavendish, home of Anne of Green Gables, is a 15 minute drive away complete with living museum, the famous Green Gables house, waterpark and amusement park

 A NICE RESPITE FROM THE WEATHER, October 21, 2009

THIS HOUSE HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED. THE LOCATION IS A LITTLE DISTANCE FROM THE ACTION, BUT IT'S QUIET AND PEACEFUL. THE FIREPLACE WAS A JOY CONSIDERING THE TEMPERATURE FOR OUR STAY WAS QUITE COOL. BRING YOUR CLOTHES AND FOOD AND THE REST IS SUPPLIED.
