Description of the Bradenton Beach vacation condo rental

Location, location, location. The 3 most important things to consider in a vacation rental. Tucked back on a VERY quite peaceful setting. Brick patio courtyard and outdoor covered patio. Nestled under a beautiful palm and tropical tree and flowering plant foliage. About 30 steps from top 10 white powder Bradenton beach on one side and about 40 steps to our private boat/fishing dock on Sarasota Bay. Enjoy the warm aqua blue water and white powder beach. This is the most sought after location on Anna Maria Island!

No need to bring more than your bathing suit and flip flops we supply the rest i.e, beach towels, chairs, umbrella. Sit on the dock and enjoy the scenery, watch for dolphins, do some fishing, read a book, etc. You have a view of the Beach and Bay from our yard. Enjoy our screened lanai that overlooks the lush natural garden in our courtyard.

This vacation retreat is located within walking distance of all the best places to eat, Historic Bridge street shops, massage, parasailing, fishing, pubs, boating excursions,Nature parks, and so much more. If you don't feel like walking or riding our bikes you can take the free trolley anywhere you want on the island!

Area Information

Just a short walk to the best part of Anna Maria Island, historic Bridge street. For exquisite boutique shopping, great restaurants, The famous Bridge street Pier where you can fish, dine, or just sit on one of the many benches and enjoy the scenery. If you are lucky you will see a Manatee. You are almost certain to see dolphins!

Not far down the road is Holmes beach and Coquina beach both an easy bike ride away. Holmes beach has one of many beach restaurants that are have outdoor seating by the beach. While visiting Coquina beach stop in to walk or ride bikes along the miles of marked trails at Coquina National Park, Coquina Baywalk at Leffis Key. Here you will find some of the best nature trails in Florida!

Just a few miles further is Longboat key, another incredible white powder beach. You can ride the FREE TROLLEY all the way to coquina Beach or Anna Maria Beach on the northern end of the island. In fact, you can easily get by without a car and save $ on renting. The trolley stops about 50 steps from our condo and picks up about 3 times an hour. Just beyond this is St. Armand's Circle. You'll love all the designer boutiques and restaurants!

Go into the town of Bradenton just 2 miles and your find all the big name stores like WalMart, Bealls, Kmart, and big name chain restaurants like Cracker Barrel, MacDonald's, Pizza Hut, Hungry Howie's, etc. Just a bit further are the outlet malls in Ellenton.

Anna Maria Island retains old Florida charm because it does not allow these chains on the island. Nor are high-rises allowed except for a few that were grandfathered

A Plesant Suprise

We were anxious to start our vacation and messed up the date of arrival. We showed up the night before and followed instructions to enter the unite upon arrival. Needless to say the owner Mark was surprised to see us the next morning. The weather was fairly good but coming from Indiana it was wonderful! The accommodations were very clean and well kept up. Being on the south end of the island was great. Our street was not very long making it only a short distance from our cottage to the fishing pier and on the other end of the street was the most beautiful beach with miles of sandy shores to walk. Also the bike path followed the beach so we could ride our bikes safely while enjoying the view of the Gulf. The whole experience on Anna Maria Island was wonderful,a memory we will always treasure.

My family and I spent a week at this beautiful place. You never need to leave the island, it has everything. Trolleys and buses, but most everything is within walking distance. There are so many things to do, swimming, shelling, fishing, bike riding, shopping, I could go on and on. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. Mark and his wife thought of everything to make it feel like home. There were beach chairs, towels and even toys. Fishing poles and bikes were provided also. The courtyard was the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. The kitchen and bath rooms were stocked with everything you needed and there is even a washer and dryer for your use. This could not have been a better vacation. Thanks.

We just wanted to thank you folks for a splendid week at your villa. Gorgeous location. Peaceful. The place was perfect inside. Clean and very comfy with plenty of space and only about a 3 minute walk from a georgeous beach on the gulf. And our landlords (with their villa next door) were wonderful folks who kept to themselves. It was a real pleasure to get to know them. Florida was a delight. We both wish you the very best in your business endeavors. The place was very nice and had all the accomodations needed for a great vacation. The place is nice and quiet and very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting in the Lanai every morning and enjoying the tranquil setting. There was some landscape construction going on but other than that it is a peaceful area and the owners made every attempt to make it comfortable.

"Looking for quiet tranquility while at the same time wanting a variety of shopping, excellent dining or just relaxing at the beach, this cozy "honeymoon home" will be your perfect choice. Located near the center of Bradenton Beach, we were within walking distance to all the above activities. Along with the home comes the advantage of having a private boat dock where one can fish or just watch the many birds and wildlife. The owners, Mark and Lillian did an outstanding job in being able to provide all the essentials to make this home as near to your home as possible. With a well stocked kitchen, bathroom etc., their attention to detail made our monthly stay enjoyable and relaxing.
