Anna Maria Island: Anna Maria Island is an unpretentious beach community with no crowds or congestion. High rise buildings are taboo and dressing for dinner means changing into a clean pair of shorts and flip-flops. Or dress as elegant as you wish. It's all OK. Yet the island has everything for a memorable vacation-eclectic boutiques, art galleries, award winning restaurants, miles of beautiful pristine beaches and almost every water sport imaginable.
On the island: There are numerous activities available in the area for your enjoyment. Around the island you can enjoy shelling, jet skiing, kayaking, wildlife viewing, boat tours, parasailing, sailing, fishing charters,and of course great shopping and waterfront dining.

Pirates and Orioles Spring Training, Historic Fishing Village of Cortez, Florida Maritime museum, Mote Aquarium,
