Description of the Bradenton vacation home rental
Within the prestigious Heritage Harbour secure, gated community, on a south facing lot framed by lake and preserve, the villa is a light, spacious and airy 2 bedroom/2 bathroom home with its own leisure pool. Looking out to a lake and mature preserve trees. You will hear the sounds of many visiting birds and the sounds of golfers teeing off the 14th tee of Stoneybrook Golf Course whilst you sip refreshments on the spacious south facing patio.
The villa has full air conditioning/heating .
There is a large central lounge area with a fully open kitchen/breakfast area, dining area,TV den, laundry room (washer and dryer) and 2 car automatic garage.
The patio area features a large screened lanai / pool /deck with comfortable patio furniture and gas barbeque for 6 people.
The Master bedroom - A large bright room overlooking the pool/ lake preserve with double patio doors. There is a large master bathroom with 2 vanity units a large corner bath and separate walk in shower. A walk in closet with plenty of hanging space provides plenty of storage and a 32" flat screen TV and DVR.
Bedroom 2 - A bedroom with twin beds and a large built in wardrobe. Overlooks the front garden and is next to the family bathroom with shower /bath.
Den- A good sized TV room with 42" flat screen TV, DVR and a comfortable queen size sofa / bed. Double sliding doors allow more privacy.

Area Information
Located but a few minutes from Interstate 75, exit 220, an easy drive from both Tampa (40 mins) and Orlando (120 mins) airports.The Heritage Harbour Community lies bounded by the Manatee River and is a short drive from the powdery white sand beaches and warm waters of the Gulf Coast of Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. There are many attractions also easily accessible ie Busch Gardens / Adventure Island (40 mins) and Disney Orlando (80 mins). For shopppers there is Ellenton International Outlet Mall (5 mins), St Armands Circle will attract the more discerning shopper with its exquisite shops, cafes and restaurants.
Beaches
Only 20 minutes from some of the very best Gulf beaches with their legendary powdery sand. These beaches always feature in the 10 best beaches in the USA.
Sport
The wonderful winter climate makes Florida the home of many world class sport facilities. Bradenton is the home of the famous Bollitieri Tennis Academy and the IMG Golf Academy. Catch the early season baseball camps of The Pittsburgh Pirates and Tampa Bay Rays. Tampa is the home of Tampa Bay Lightning Ice hockey. Tickets are usually readily available.
Golf Courses
You will be spoilt for choice! You are on a fine golf course but there are 4 within 5 mins drive of the villa all worth playing and at very reasonable rates.
Stoneybrook Golf Course - You are on it, overlooking the 14th tee. A nice introduction to the area with a wonderful club house. Enjoy a well earned refreshment on the shaded patio overlooking the 9th green.
River Strand Golf - A semi private course with 27 challenging holes all through beautiful preserve surroundings and river views.
Waterlefe Golf Course - a very challenging course probably appreciated by lower handicappers with some superb signature holes.
Greenfields Plantation - A good public course just down the road with open fairways but plenty of water sand and out of bounds!
You could definitely play a different course every day for a fortnight and never have to travel more than 40 mins!
Tennis
Bring your racquets. Wonderful tennis weather mornings or evenings. You could play in one of the 8 rubberised floodlight courts at the community centre or 5 mins by push bike you can join a very professional set up at River Strand Tennis Club. A friendly club, with 8 floodlit hartru courts ,(wonderful for aging joints). 3 committed professionals will tune up your game and daily join-in sessions.
Shopping
A choice of supermarkets nearby - Wal Mart and Publix (5 mins). Ellenton Outlet Mall a short drive. Fine shops ,elegant dining, sidewalk cafes make St Armands Circle a must for the serious shopper. No visitor should miss a visit to the Village of the Arts in Bradenton and Sarasotsa.
Culture
Sarasota is considered a centre for the Arts in the winter months with appearences of many international artists. The Opera House and Van Wezel Centre are the most visited venues. Nearby Tampa and St Petersburg also have thriving arts scene. The newly built Dali Museum, Mahaffey Arts Complex is another wonderful treat.

Great Holiday

Had a wonderful holiday. The home was very well equipped and the owners contacted us numerous times to check if all was ok. We loved sitting out in the lanai watching the various birds and wildlife around the pond. The location is not too far from the beaches and other attractions. The local clubhouse has a gym and a large heated pool that we used quite often. Stoneybrook golf course is part of the development and is a fun course to play. A very large outlet malls is about 5 miles away. We liked the fact that the community is gated. The home is nicely furnished with 2 new flatscreen tv's. Had our grandchildren down for 2 weeks and they loved it. Would rent again.

Wonderful, delightful property. Very clean and well equipped. Very responsive owners who replaced non- functioning fridge within 24 hours. Also, resolved several other issues immediately. We were 2 couples and would have been more comfortable if there were 2 master suites. Not the owners fault. Very impressed with the community, location, amenities offered, and the maintenance of the surrounding properties and quality of the area.
