Description of the Bradenton vacation villa rental

Our luxury villa offers the perfect location for you to explore the best that Florida has to offer. It is situated on the beautiful Gulf Coast in the exclusive River Strand gated golf community.

River Strand villa is a new fully air conditioned property (completed December 06) and is newly furnished. It comprises of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, accommodating up to 6 people.

The beautiful pool and spa area is fully covered and furnished with outdoor furniture perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing in the sun.

The open plan fully equipped kitchen and dining area are perfect for a family or group holiday. The villa has all of the modern appliances you could wish for including a cooker and hob, family size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

The spacious seating area with TV and DVD is perfect for relaxing evenings in. The large games room with pool table provides entertainment for all. We also have high speed internet access.

River Strand gated golf community boasts a spectacular 27 hole golf course designed by Arthur Hills. It offers players a first class golf experience and is challenging but also fun for all handicap levels. The Manatee River is incorporated into several of the holes giving a wonderful surrounding and a memorable golf experience.

As owners, golf membership at the River Strand course is held in our names. For a fee this can be transferred to you as our guests, enabling you to play UNLIMITED GOLF FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STAY.

Our villa is superbly located to allow you to enjoy a taste of all that Florida has to offer. There are many interesting and enjoyable activities available in the local area.

The community lies just 20 minutes away from the cosmopolitan town of Sarasota with its abundance of restaurants and bars. Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key with their stunning white sand beaches are also 20 minutes away.

The thriving city of Tampa with its large shopping malls and attractions, including Busch Gardens, is just under an hour away and Orlando and the Disney parks are only 90 minutes drive.

Just five minutes drive from our community are a number of restaurants and bars for you to choose from. There is also a large supermarket and gas station.

Local Area......

For the shopaholics among you Ellenton Prime Outlets shopping mall is just five minutes drive from our villa. This superb collection of quality outlet stores includes Guess, Calvin Klein and DKNY to name just a few.

Boat Hire is available from many places in the area and is great fun for all. Sail out onto the Intercoastal waterway for the day and indulge in a spot of fishing and you may be lucky enough to meet the resident dolphins and manatees! We found a good quality hire store around 20 minutes drive from the villa at Siesta Key.

Anna Maria Island is well worth a visit with stunning white sand beaches and clear emerald ocean views. There is so much to do here, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. We can recommend spending some time on the beach and enjoying the spectacular sunset before enjoying a cocktail at one of the many beachfront bars.

 EXCELLENT FAMILY GET-AWAY, July 22, 2008

Very nice home, kids loved the pool! Beach toys, chairs provided, (beaches 30 minutes away) ad failed to mention enormous walk in closet that was GREAT for keeping laundry & luggage organized for the 6 of us. Property management was quick to respond when we arrived to the wi-fi and refridgerator ice-maker not working (although neither were fixed during our stay so not having ice was a tiny inconvenience. Overall, the home is better than expected, tastefully decorated, (not cluttered) & close to I-75 so access to the beaches, shopping etc. is very easy. Being a running family, we particularly enjoyed the 1.5 mile trail/loop around the development's pond and especially the safety & security of being in a gated community making it safe for us to take morning/evening runs. We have rented numerous homes & condos over the years and this house is by far the quietest & most peaceful yet. You will not be disappointed.
