Description of the Branson vacation cabin rental
We are so glad you have found our vacation log cabin, Cross Timbers Lodge! We fell in love with this area near Table Rock Lake and believe you will too! Only 8 miles south of Branson, this location offers the best of both worldsa quiet home away from home, yet within 10 minutes of all Branson has to offer.
Why this is the perfect place to get-away:
1. Privacy---this is so much better than staying in a condo or hotel---it is a
custom built home with all the features you’d expect in a luxury log cabin.
2. With 3 bedrooms & 2 living areas, there is room for everyone (1550 sq ft). No
need to rent multiple rooms for your large or extended family. The cabin has a split
floor plan with the master suite on one side with it's own private bath. 2 other
bedrooms (one with a queen bed, and one with 2 twin beds) are on the other side
of the home and share a hall bath. A queen sleeper sofa is in the downstairs living
area, and we have a fabulous upstairs loft with another queen sleeper sofa.
3.If you are looking for a romantic getaway, look no further as our jacuzzi tub,
private hot tub on deck, and wood burning fireplace offer plenty of cozy
places to snuggle up with the one you love!
4. If you want to save money & cook, our fully furnished kitchen offers
everything you need. If not, you’re only 10 minutes away from Branson.
5. There is SO much to do in Branson. Check out our "Attractions" page for a
list of our favorites.

Perfect vacation getaway
January 26, 2013
We were amazed at the beauty of this cabin. The kids loved the loft area and we enjoyed the fireplace nightly. It was great to go do things during the day and get to come "home" in the evening. So much better than a cramped hotel. It made for an unforgettable New Years eve roasting marshmallows and relaxing in the hot tub. We will definitely be returning for another stay!

We spent Thanksgiving week in Branson at the Lauer cabin. The accommodations were fantastic, Branson was fun, and Table Rock lake is beautiful. We had a great family vacation.

This place is great! Went up with a few friends for the weekend & really enjoyed the beauitiful cabin. Very close to Branson & all that it has to offer, but it is very secluded & has a great frisbee golf course. I highly recommend the cabin! Very clean, open & rustic!

Our family of 5 plus grandparents had a wonderful time at your cabin. The area around the cabin is beautiful and relaxing and made us feel like we were away from the hustle and bustle of Branson's strip, but yet all the activities were close by. We loved the hot tub each night and the kids loved the many tvs so they could each watch what they wanted - no fighting. We liked being able to cook our own meals and there was plenty of room for us to be together inside or outside. We hated to leave and hope to come back again.

This was our third year to enjoy the accommodations of the Lauers cabin and we love everything it has to offer. There is plenty of room for all seven adults and one child to all stay in one place. It is a cozy and rustic place far enough out of the busy part of Branson but yet close enough to enjoy it too.

Great place to stay

Nice, clean, place to stay. We had 10 people and there was enough room for all of us. Also kind of secluded so it is very quiet. Close to lake and close to branson. Loved the hot tub and the kids loved the wi-fi. However the golf course it is on is closed and the pool is kinda small. Also could use more towels. Would definately recommend to friends.

We were hoping the golf course would be re-opened but the owners have decided to add other amenities such as sand volleyball, horse shoe pits, walking trails, and eventually (hopefully soon) a 2nd pool. We love being close to several top-notch golf courses such as Branson Creek. We hope you will be our guests again. (We passed along the suggestion regarding more towels to our cleaning staff---thanks for letting us know).

Feels Like Home

From the moment we arrived, this cabin felt like home. Our teenager LOVED having the loft to herself. Everything was so clean and nice. It is close enough to everything to be convenient and far enough away to be quiet and secluded. Our grandsons both had so much fun they were exhausted and ready for bed early every evening. We spent most every evening just sitting on the deck laughing and talking and enjoying being a family. It was such a blessing to have a whole week there to just relax and reconnect with the ones we love. The wildlife in the mornings was a welcome treat as well. It was an absolutely wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it to everyone...whether you are a retired couple, a young family with lots of kids or a multi-generational group like ours...fun for everyone! Thanks to the Lauer family for sharing their home with us!

Great cabin for a relaxing time

The cabin was well furnished and offered all the amenities of home for our family. It wqas great for both small kids as well as adults. The loft is great for older kids to have their area and it is nice to have flat screen tv's in all of the bedrooms and living areas. The back deck is spacious and the hot tub is a nice offering as well. The development is very quiet and also offers games, picni areas, a swimming pool, and even sand volleyball and horseshoes. Overall, we had a very relaxing vacation and would definately come back again.

The cabin was clean (except some dusty ceiling fans and tv cabinet), exceptional space, fireplace logs were stocked, needed to have more lighters (the two were about empty), the hot tub was awesome, and the fireplace was cozy. I would recommend this to anyone :)

We were so relaxed in this log cabin with all furnishings and personal extra items that were like you would find in a five star resort. We were near all sights..they supplied up to date info on all local shows and sights to see. The kitchen was large with plenty of room to cook and feel right at home. The sheets and towels were top quality...the cabin was immaculate. There were extra things to make it feel like home away from home...like popcorn maker with popcorn..books, games, magazines. Tv in every room. Cat wait to go back again!

A perfect location and a perfect house for our family of six. My wife and I have 4 kids (ages 17, 15, 13 and 9) and I can't imagine a better place to have spent a week. This place is convenient to Branson yet out of the way. There was plenty of places to sleep (3 rooms + loft) and a huge kitchen/living area for hanging out. We spent more time than we expected at the cabin because it was so nice!
