Description of the Branson vacation home rental

If you love the water, you will love this family-friendly home that sits on a quiet cove of beautiful Table Rock Lake. From the house, you can watch the kids on the play fort under the oaks or look beyond to the gentle shoreline of this quiet "no wake zone" cove that is perfect for swimming or just floating around. After launching your boat from the public ramp just a half mile away, you can anchor in your back yard and stroll up the gently sloped lawn just a few hundred feet to your back door.

The design and appointments of the house reflect that a stay at the lake means family time. The main level of the house has the living room, kitchen, dining area, laundry room, three bedrooms, and two baths. The living room with two leather couches and two recliners is great for reading, conversation, music, or enjoying a movie on the HDTV. The spacious kitchen is fully outfitted and the dining table seats ten. Both the kitchen and dining room look out to the shoreline, so no matter who has "dish duty" they will not feel left out of the fun. A French door from the dining area takes you to the deck which has a gas BBQ and is a great option for outdoor dining or a quiet spot to read and keep one eye on the lake activities. Back inside, the master suite has a queen bed and full bath. The two other bedrooms share a full bath from the hallway. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two sets of bunk beds.

Just down the wide, gentle stairway is the lake level of the house with a large game area and another master suite. The game area has ping pong, foosball, and a large game table for board games and puzzles. There is also a pellet stove to cozy up to on a rainy day. The master suite is tucked far away from the activities in the rest of the house. It is very spacious with a queen bed and has a gas fire place to add a touch of romance. French doors from both the game room and the master suite open to the patio which has a large hot tub with a terrific lake view. It is a perfect spot to sooth aching muscles after a long day of watersports or fishing.

We chose Kimberling City for our family lakeside retreat because it has the perfect combination of premier lake access, conveniences of town, peace and quiet, and yet is just minutes away from all of the Branson attractions.

The house is nestled in a quiet, oak laden, residential neighborhood, yet it is just a half mile from the Port of Kimberling Marina which has everything you could want for an ideal lakeside vacation. Just three blocks from the house is the Kimberling City park with a basketball court, tennis court, baseball field, sand volleyball court, picnic pavilion and lots of grassy open space. Less than half a mile the other direction is the beautiful public library (with wireless internet) and a very nice Harter House market. Go another quarter of a mile and take advantage of a nine hole public golf course.

Just seven miles north on Highway 13 is Branson West with a Walmart Super Center and all of the retail, restaurants, and services you could need. From Branson West, just go east on Highway 76 and within a few miles you are at Silver Dollar City. Continue east from there and within 10 minutes you are in Branson. It is all so close, and yet back at the house it seems so far away as you enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds the home.

We are less than a mile from the Port of Kimberling Marina, one of the largest marinas on the lake. There are boat rentals, a public ramp, campground with full RV hook-ups, dive shop, ski/wakeboard shop, restaurant, and more.

• Required Stay: Minimum one week occupancy during a 30 day rental agreement
   
• Lodging Tax: Inluded in rental fee
   
• Deposits: A 10% non-refundable deposit is necessary to secure the reservation. 50% of the total is due no less than 30 days prior to arrival. The remaining 40% balance of the total plus a security deposit of $500 is due at time of check-in.
   
• Other Fees: None. Normal cleaning is included. Rips, stains, dents, and extreme dirt will be assessed against the security deposit. Any evidence of smoking or pets will result in immediate surrender of the premesis and forfeiture of entire security deposit.

We spent our 2008 Fourth of July week at this beautiful, fun home on Table Rock Lake. As a family we have traveled all over the states and overseas and have never had more fun and relaxation than we had here!! The home is set up to make it easy to enjoy every kind of activity we could dream of. Our kids were free to play at the water front, watch geese and turtles and fish, play intense games of ping pong, lay around and read, watch some movies, take a jacuzzi, walk to the library and on and on. We spent time at the close-by marina, putting a boat in for skiing, and we watched fireworks with a thousand friendly people over by the bridge. There were a dozen more things to do, but we paced ourselves so that we could go home rested instead of burned out on "vacation". Besides, we will definitely be coming back in 2009 (2010..2011) so what's the big hurry? The neighborhood has just the right mix of quiet times and busy times, and the owners are great to work with. You will love this!

Our family loved the time at this house. It was spacious and the kids loved the game room. Having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was great for our family of six. The quite cove was beautiful and many of the attractions were nearby with Branson West just a few minutes up the road. The house was fully furnished and even had a few basics in the cupboards. There was a nice large flat screen TV with a DVD player. Just bring a few movies or run up to the Red Box at the Wal-Mart in Branson West. The hot tub was a fun plus as well. The Baumers were very honest, great to work with, and will do their best to see that you're taken care of. You can't miss with this as a vacation home away from home.
