Three of us rented this home for a golf trip. It is a great place and we really appreciated it on the day we couldn't play golf because of the weather. It is in a very nice area and only 10 minutes from two great golf courses.

We met our kids and grandkids at Canyon Retreat for a week. We found the home to be the perfect size for us all. We had three young children with us, ages 3, 6, and 8 years. They enjoyed the downstairs area, especially the pool table. The big screen TV downstairs was awesome for movie watching. We all loved playing board games and card games on the table downstairs. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed in order to cook our "bunch". Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Canyon Retreat and plan to stay again in the future.

We loved our stay at Canyon Retreat! Beautiful large home, was very clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with plenty of supplies. The pool was great, all the kids really loved it. And the trails around the neighborhood made for a nice walk. Great place to meet friends and enjoy a nice getaway. Love the sheets, I want to get some for my home. You won't be disappointed booking a stay at this home!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Canyon Retreat. The house was lovely and very clean. It was stocked with every thing we needed including games, toys and a portable baby bed & stroller. The community was very nice and somewhat secluded. The pool and small playground across the street were like icing on the cake. The only negative comment I have to make (and I make that comment so you know that this is a balanced review) is that the bedrooms, other than the master bedroom, were a bit small. There was not much floor space around the bed. If we were to return to Branson, we would check to see if Canyon Retreat was available before looking elsewhere.

I rented with my family and parents. 8 total - and we all had a ton of space to relax. The home is beautiful and well kept. It's well decorated - and everything you need is there in the home. This made our visit very relaxing and fun. My parents enjoyed just sitting on the back deck and enjoying the weather. We sat out every night listening to the frogs and looking at the beautiful stars. (Can't see them from Dallas - but BOY you can see them in Missouri!) I highly recommend this rental over any hotel. It's only 10 mintues from anywhere - and we had no issues with traffic at any time.

Branson Christmas

This was our first visit to Branson and we fell in love. Branson is gorgeous. We had great weather, and a beautiful home to stay in. We had 6 adults and a 4 month old. The house was great because we were able to spend quality time together, cook some of our own meals, and sleep in :) The homes are beautiful, and I like that it's not IN Branson, but a little outside - still a close drive though. I recommend renting this home. It feels like your own home.

We booked this retreat back in May for our stay over Thanksgiving. So glad that we did. When we arrived it was beautifully decorated for Christmas and so welcoming. We were especially happy because we had planned to bring a Christmas tree and had forgotten to do that. No problem, there was an awesomely decorated tree waiting for us, along with Christmas stockings hung on the staircase. Our little kiddos felt like it was Christmas morning when they opened the well stocked toy box. :) They loved playing with all of their "new" toys. Whenever one of us asked do we have this or that, for the most part it was already there.......even the spices, like cumin which we needed for a salsa we were making. We had brought things from home that we really wouldn't have needed to, such as an electric griddle and crock pot.....because they were already there. The view of the lake from the deck is beautiful. The little ones enjoyed the park right across the street. The beds were great. King size in every room and very well appointed with high end bedding. Only a very few suggestions.....we couldn't find extra dish towels or dish cloths, perhaps we just missed them. Love the open concept of the home, and all of the wood floors, but it could use some sound control, perhaps some draperies. What a wonderful place to host a large family gathering. We would definitely do it again. Thank you so much for lending your beautiful home to our family for the very special time we had.

This a beautiful home that is stocked with all you need for a great stay. It was so clean we felt comfortable walking barefoot throughout the home, something we seldom do other places. We had 8 adults and 7 children and had plenty of room. I would recommend this home to any of my friends or family.

We rented this home for a family vacation. There were 10 in our family the children were 1, 2, 12 and 13...the rest were adults....we had such a good time. The home is lovely....just like in the pictures. The kitchen is well appointed, the linens and towels are nice, it was nice and clean upon our arrival. There are two quality grocery stores nearby. Retreat is a perfect word to describe this home...we would enjoy the hustle and bustle of Branson...and return to relax and have fun. The pool and play structure are nearby and were enjoyed by all. Lots of good memories were made the week we stayed there.

Perfect Long Weekend Getaway

Thirteen of us, six adults and 7 children (ages 11 months - 10 years) spent 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend and had everything we needed to rest and play together! We loved the three floors for naptime privacies, the easy pool for young chlldren, the deck and all of the attention to detail. We used the feather beds to make the hide-a-beds in the game room more comfortable and everyone slept great! We had a great stay and would highly recommend this to our friends! Thanks a lot! We really enjoyed our family vacation at Canyon Retreat. The house was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The house was stocked with toys and things we would need in the kitchen. My family appreciated the house decor and layout of the house. The four bedrooms and bathrooms were great for our family. It was close to Branson but far enough away to be relaxing. We really enjoyed our time there.

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. We had 2 grandparents, myself with a 16 yr old daughter and 2 boys who are 11. The kids could've stayed at the house the entire time! They stayed in the downstairs game room until all hours of the night. The house was very clean, roomy and well decorated. Shopping was 10 minutes away as well as lots of restaurants. I do wish the house was closer to the lake but it wasn't far. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay!!

We met in Branson for a family reunion in Aug 2010. The location of this home was perfect for us. It's a short drive to all the action without having to stay in the middle of it. It has the feel of a small subdivision of homes surrounded by trees. We also rented a home across the street, which, between the two, was perfect to accommodate all of us and was convenient. The home was beautiful and very clean. It has a nice open floor plan and feels very spacious. It was more than we expected or anticipated. Memory foam was provided for each sofa sleeper, which made them very comfortable. Tyann was extremely helpful also. She provided a lot of information about the area and entertainment, including an owner website with a lot of information. Whenever I had a question, she responded quickly via email. I would HIGHLY recommend this home to everyone.

We had a wonderful time in this home. It was well suited for the 7 adults and 7 children we brought. They had little extras that make the stay just that little bit better, toys for kids, movies to watch, soap for the washing machine, spices in the cabinet. The downsides we had were: kitchen was small, the trash was required to be taken a LONG way away, and no screened in porch. The pool and club house are right across the street with a nice playground within view from the house. Our kids really loved that. The pool was wonderful. All in all our trip was wonderful! The decor in the house was beautiful as well. One tip to the owners, you might negotiate with the cleaning lady to take out the trash at the end of the weekend. That really was ridiculous to have to walk so far to take the trash out. A great place to stay.

Canyon Retreat is all that previous guests have said it is - a great place for any group or family to relax and enjoy each other and the Branson area at the same time.
Our little girls liked having a a big screen TV in their bedroom and the pool being so close. Our two year old boy loved the wooden train set.
The adults loved the decor, the spaciousness, the comfy beds, and the setting - and the feeling of being away from the crowds, but actually within minutes of everything. We would recommend this home to everyone (except that might mean it won't be available the next time we vist Branson...oh, my, what a dilemma...).

Four "girls" from Hawaii stayed for a week in this wonderful
house in celebration of a 60th birthday. The house was absolutely perfect. Beautifully decorated and well appointed and furnished. Plenty of room to spread out. Great entertainment area downstairs. It was a welcome alternative to staying in a motel. The location of the house is very convenient to Branson without having to be in the hustle and bustle of the strip. I would highly recommend this house for any size group. You will not be disappointed.

In early April, our group of 10 people stayed 4 days/3 nights in the Branson area for our annual trip to the Greater Ozarks Open bowling tournament in Springfield, MO. And let me tell you, Canyon Retreat was the perfect vacation home for us!
Everyone had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed the 4 spacious king bedrooms, open main-level floor plan for entertainment, pool table in lower level, BBQ on the deck for grilling out, as well as the plasma/LCD TV's for watching NCAA March Madness and playing Wii video games!
Numerous members of our group were extremely impressed with not only the size of the home and its furnishings/decorations, but also its ideal location and proximity to restaurants, golf, grocery store, etc. It was very quick and convenient to hop onto Highway 65 and zip to Springfield and back for bowling too…awesome!
In closing, everyone had a truly exceptional time! Thanks so much for providing an incredible vacation home for our annual weekend getaway, and we all look forward to staying at Canyon Retreat again in the future! God bless!
