Area Description

Hiking

The Braşov area is famous for its 326 sq km hiking paradise.
Various tracks are available for beginners and experienced hikers.
Just cross the forest or take a trail on top of the Bucegi
Mountains. You will be treated with marvelous views of unspoiled
nature.

Skiing

Casa Olandeza is conveniently situated between Poiana Braşov,Predeal and Sinaia, the largest skiing resorts in Romania. The area has various slopes suited for beginners to advanced skiers. Ski equipment can be rented on the spot and the English and German speaking instructors will make your ski-holiday a memorable experience.

Paragliding

For those looking for a different challenge, the hills of your residence are home to the best paragliding facilities in Romania.
Enjoy the freedom of flying while overseeing the tops of the

Coming back from a business trip, from Sibiu, Casa Olandeza offered me the opportunity of recharging my batteries before going back home, to Bucharest. Cooking, hiking and meeting new people are few things that I enjoy, and I had them all in just two days. I could perform some of my magic in the kitchen, having the familiar feeling of "home" and the rest of the house completed that impression with it's comfort and coziness.

Visiting "Sapte Scari" , a three hours hiking trip, just near the location, was the warm up for the later coming exercises. Park Aventura was waiting and challenging. There is still the one route that I haven't finished (the black one and the most difficult) but it is a promise for this year, when I visit again "Casa Olandeza", wheather it is for business or pleasure.
