This Ames Hill home is available for lease from October 2009 thru June 2010. Ready to move in condition and fully furnished. The property is located off Ames Hill Road between Marlboro and West Brattleboro. The home is only 7 miles from the center of Brattleboro. This lovely and efficient home is situated on a private 2 plus acre parcel with hillside views and a small brook. Recreational activities near the area include antique hunting, fishing, golf, hiking, boating, skiing and biking. Distances to ski resorts: Mt. Snow 20 miles and Stratton 35 miles. Driving distances to major cities: Hartford, CT less than 2 hours; Boston, Ma less than 3 hours. Very close to the winery in Jacksonville, Vermont.
The recently built 3 story home has the following amenities: fully furnished, 1 master bedroom with queen bed and full bath, 1 guest bath on main floor, 2 upstairs bedrooms with two single beds and 1 double bed with a shared bath. The kitchen is fully equipped – appliances, glassware and cooking essentials. A clean and radiant heated daylight basement is available for projects and storage. Includes washer and dryer. Covered front porch and outdoor deck with BBQ.
The home has two heating systems. The primary heating system has 3 zones for hydronic and radiant heat. The backup heating system is an thermostatically controlled electric in-wall heaters to heat only the main floor and daylight basement. The home is very compact at 1300 sq. ft. ---- main floor and upstairs. The daylight basement has approximately 600 sq. ft. of useable space. The home is well insulated and has double pane windows.
Pets will be considered. A non smoking home.
Lease arrangement: $1075 per month plus utilities. Satellite tv is available. Water and trash pickup provided. Security deposit requested based on length of stay.
