Feels like home

August 2, 2013

We rented this property for my husband’s 39th birthday weekend to get away from the city, to relax, to fish a little bit, and to enjoy the company of a few family and friends. We chose this home due to location, affordability, appearance, and notably the ease of transaction and communication with the owner. The home is easy to get to and instructions for stay are clear and concise. The home is beautiful, very spacious, suitably furnished, and most importantly comfortable and relaxing. It’s nestled perfectly in the mountains and surrounded by lovely landscapes and trails. We definitely felt away from the city when we had some wildlife visitors in the yard, which made for some pretty amazing photographs! The open concept kitchen, dining, and living room space were perfect for cooking, eating, and socializing together when we chose and the bedrooms and bathrooms were ideally located to provide some privacy when needed. The hot tub is an added bonus, but best enjoyed during chilly or winter nights. The town and lakes are within a short drive and the hikes and trails are just around the bend. We only left the house to fish and to hike, but never because we were in need of anything. We were able to find everything we needed in the house during our stay, especially to prepare our meals, to take care of some small scrapes from hiking, and to settle into bed for the night. The owner definitely knows the necessities needed to make you feel at home here! We certainly look forward to staying here again and feel that we have found a “home away from home”.
