SawMill Cottages located on 7 acres of private woods just two miles from the Pisgah National Forest and the "Land of Waterfalls". Spend the weekend or a week enjoying the rustic but modern furnishings that are representative of the Appalacian heritage. Architectural antiques were used to build the cottages including flooring from a Charleston warehouse to stained glass windows from Europe. Attention to detail is given to your comfort and relaxation. The cottages consist of the "The Lodge House", "The Weathervane", and "The Sassafras", all offering a slighty different vacation experience. The name, Sawmill Cottages, comes as a result of our neighbors, Piney Mountain Sawmill, a family owned, local mountain style functioning sawmill still in operation today and where most of the wood came from to build The Sassafras Cottage.

Pisgah Forest is near Brevard and Asheville North Carolina and known as "The Land of Waterfalls" for the many hiking trails and natural waterfalls, and trout fishing streams. Outdoor activities abount in this heavily wooded forest preserve with a stream on the property and mountain to hike.

We are just 2 miles from BREVARD COLLEGE, & THE BREVARD MUSIC CENTER and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Asheville is just 20 miles, Hendersonville just 12 miles.

• Deposits: One nights deposit is required in advance of arrival. Upon receipt of deposit, directions and a confirmation is emailed. There is a $50.00 cleaning deposit that is non-refundable for periods of one week or less. There is a $100 cleaning deposit that is non-refundable for monthly stays.
