Description of the Brewster vacation condo rental

Stay with us and enjoy comfortable, worry-free accommodations, just a mile from the beach. We will reimburse you for the cost of a Brewster Beach Pass for each full week you rent.

Our condo has a comfortable living room and dining room decorated with original Cape art. Sliding doors look out across the patio and 13th fairway. The living room has AC, DVD, VCR and a TV so you won 't have to miss the Red Sox. There are two couches, one of which opens into a new queen-size sleeper.

There are two bedrooms. The sunny master bedroom has a queen bed with a private, full bath. The second bedroom has two twins beds. There is a second full bathroom as well. Both bedrooms are air conditioned. Each has a bureau, closet, clock radio, attractive comforters and lots of pillows. (We do not provide sheets and towels but you can bring your own or rent them from a local linen service.)

Our condo features a newly renovated and fully-equipped kitchen. There are all new appliances including a dishwasher and microwave. Of course you will find all of the dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils necessary for everything from a quick cup of coffee to a full leisurely dinner. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience.

If you wish, you can have your coffee and breakfast, or a drink and your dinner for that matter, on the patio. Wake up to the sound of singing birds and soft breezes.

Our condo is in the Ocean Edge Resort in the beautiful colonial town of Brewster, historically known as the Sea Captains' Town. Brewster is situated on Cape Cod Bay with many fine beaches and dozens of idyllic fresh water ponds.

You can access the Cape Cod Bike Path right from Ocean Edge and peddle to salt or fresh water swimming, wildlife viewing, fishing, hiking, and boating. There are also many informative ranger led hikes and nature talks at the National Seashore in nearby Eastham.

Brewster has a variety of excellent restaurants, seafood markets, organic food stores, farm-stands and wine shops. There are a multituder of galleries, bookstores, and antique shops to explore.

Opportunities abound for fishing, whale watching, jet skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, and golf at numerous affordable public courses. The area features summer art shows, concerts, theater productions, and Cape Cod Summer League baseball games.

Free Brewster Town Beach pass with each full-week rental; good for Bay Beaches and Freshwater Pond Beaches

• Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check
   
• Check In: 3 p.m.
   
• Check Out: 11 a.m.
   
• Required Stay: Saturday to Saturday in season, flexible in off season, but with two day minium stay
   
• Lodging Tax: Brewster MAY enact a lodging tax. IF the Massachusetts legislature votes to allow it. IF it happens the lodging tax would be added to any rentals.
   
• Deposits: 1. Reservations before May 1st: -50% of the total rental fee (rent, security deposit, optional fees, and applicable taxes). Due within ten (10)days to confirm the booking. -Balance due June 1 for July-Sept. rentals. 2. Reservations after May 1st: -100% of total rental fee. Due within ten (10) days to confirm the booking. 3. A security deposit of $350 is required for all bookings. 4. Phone is for local calls only, other charges deducted from deposit.
   
• Other Fees: Cancellation Policy 1. In the event of cancellation, a refund minus a service fee of 25% of the total rental fee will be made if and only if property is re-rented. If property is not re-rented cancellation will result in the forfeiture of the total rental amount paid. (Exception: If the cancellation is made more than 90 days prior to the arrival date the 25% service fee will be charged but the re-rental requirement will be waived) 2. All notice of cancellation must be in writing (no email).

The Garbers are the consummate hosts and obviously want you to have a good time. The condo was spotless. It is also beautifully decorated and has a wonderful, homey feel. The kitchen is completely outfitted; everything you need to prepare meals has been provided. We will definitely be asking to be their guests again.

Alex and I wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your Brewster Condo last July. We found it to be comfortable and well equipped- just as advertised! We really liked having breakfast on the patio in the morning and cocktails in the wicker chairs out front after coming back from the beach, in fact we fought to get to the wicker rocker first. Your paintings, furnishings, and color scheme lent a great Cape feel to the condo which we really found relaxing. Everything was convenient, from the beaches and bike path to the shops and galleries. By the way, you were right, taking a dip in the fresh water ponds after a day at the beach was refreshing and offered another dimension to the vacation. We liked Nickerson's ponds the best. Thanks so much.

We truly enjoyed our trip to the Cape. The lovely, clean, well equipped condo we rented was the icing on the cake. You don't need to bring anything except your bed linen and towels. This was a very comfortable and attractive condo, with all the comforts of home provided. It was perfect for out small family. Simple things like having sandwich bags in the kitchen for making up a quick picnic lunch, a parasol and folding chair for trips to the beach, personal recommendations for local restaurants all made life easier. The owners were very helpful in providing advice prior to our arrival and were very prompt in reimbursing the beach pass as promised. Brewster is an idyllic relaxing place and the beaches were lovely. Our particular favourite was Paine's Creek. The condo was a little further from the beach than we'd imagined,(at least for a seven year old), but still very accessible.

This is a very comfortable condo, in a great Central Cape location. Convenient to many bay beaches and a short drive to Cape Cod National Seashore. We would bike right out the door and be on the bike trail in 5 minutes. Our biggest decision was do we go east or west. Whale watching in P Town and touring in Nantucket were just some of our adventures when we weren’t just lying on the beach. Visited all the thrift shops and tried many restaurants in the area when we weren’t barbequing on the back patio. This was the second year we stayed at this wonderful condo and will do it again. Thanks for the relaxing vacation.
