Description of the Brewster vacation home rental
Cape Cod home with small beach and boat mooring on beautiful Long Pond, close to bike paths and ocean. Bring your own boat or use our kayaks and canoes. Large deck with lots of birds, shade trees and magnificent sunsets over Long Pond. Grill out or eat out; Breakwater Fish Market, Satucket Farm Stand, and terrific restaurants like ABBA and Beach Inn near by. Fully equipped home for you and your family. Anchor your boat. Swim to the floating raft on the pond, play ping pong, pool or hop on your bike and take a short ride to the nearly 40 mile long paved Cape Rail Trail. Large, open floor plan with fireplace. The weather is fantastic year round! We are on a hill and have lots of cross ventilation and ceiling fans in most rooms. Sorry, old fashioned, so no AC. Bring your linens, relaxing sweats and swim suits; everything else is ready and waiting fr you.
We recycle and use pond friendly cleaning products. We support our local resources and are members of Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore, Wellfleet Audubon, Cape Cod Natural History Museum and the Friends of Long Pond Association.
Area Information
Lots of ocean and bay beaches to choose from. Just a short drive to the best breakfasts on the Cape, unless of course, you are making it in the large eat in kitchen of our home. Miles and miles of paved bike trails are a short ride from the house. Bike to the ocean, Cape Cod Bay or into Chatham or Wellfleet.
Local fish store cooks and cracks your lobster to order. Nearby farm stand provides great corn and more. Lots of antique and second hand stores in area. Lots of antique stores just minutes away in Dennis and Brewster.
Just a short drive to Cape Cod National Seashore or Nauset Beach. So much to enjoy and a large wrap around deck to just take it easy!
Postal address is Harwich, but it is located west of HWY 6 and closer to Brewster, near the Brewster town line.

This was a lovely home for our family vacation with one college child and one high school child. The canoe and kayaks that were included with the rental were the icing on the cake. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked. I haven't enjoyed swimming in a lake so much in a long time. Great location on the Cape too.....such easy access to everywhere we wanted to go.

Great cottage right next to Long Pond

We had a wonderful time on Georgia Ln! You can see Long Pond from multiple decks in the house--great places to have coffee in the morning. There's plenty to do in the surrounding areas. The owner has provided several maps and a Cape Cod guide book to help you get around. If you'd rather stay near the house, however, you'll never run out of things to do: kayaking and canoeing, billiards, ping pong, board games, and puzzles.

Our Honeymoon Adventure

We had such a great time on our honeymoon. We had never been to Cape Cod before, and were pleasantly surpised! Our stay, was just what we needed to unwind, and relax after our big day. We brought our bikes, and road 14 mi. on the rails to trails, bike trail to Marconi Beach, went whale watching in Provincetown, went to the Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwhich, ate at some of the best resteraunts, Blue Moon Cafe in Dennis, Cape Sea Grill in Harwichport, The Wee Packet in Dennis Port, The Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans.... just to name a few. This house was just far enough off the beaten path, yet centrally located, with all of the conveniences we needed. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely like to return sometime in the near future. Thank you, once again! Kristin & Mike

Wonderful experience

We thoroughly enjoyed spending a week on Cape Cod in a lovely house on Long Pond. The house was very comfortable and hospitable. We especially appreciated the internet connection and well equipped kitchen, seeing birds at the feeders. Location was ideal for biking, hiking, and sailing. Even though we live in Massachusetts, we had never vacationed on Cape Cod before. We hope to go back in the future and would definitely consider staying in the house again. We will recommend it to our friends. The owner was extremely helpful and very easy to reach when we had questions.

Great stay! Very nicely appointed and beds were to die for! You can tell this is a home - not just a rental house. Everything we needed to cook in kitchen plus more. Lovely deck, 2 grills, and very nice location. Close to Orleans, Eastham, P'town, Hyannis, etc. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

A Little Piece of Heaven

Thank you for a wonderful vacation. This home is lovely, comfortable,and fully equipped as advertised. The beds even allow a good night's sleep. It was close to everything. We went canoeing on the pond, ate fried clams, and put our feet in the water at Coast Guard Beach. Choosing a rental home from pictures on the internet is always a little risky but boy did we win big with this choice. We can't wait to go back!

We happened to choose the best week this summer for the Cape. We loved the location. A hop onto Route 6 to the Marconi Beach and waves (Boogie boards available) and then back home for leisurely floating or kayaking on Long Pond.(also available) As my son said, the best of both worlds. This home is truly well equiped, so dont bother to bring anything but the food you want. It has a wonderful open layout so what ever you are doing you are not isolated. Loved the 3 baths- one for each bedroom. Take the recommendations Sue has listed. The best seafood from Breakwater and so easy to get to. No traffic!!! Just loved it.

This home was in a great location, easy access to the bike trail, local beaches and shopping. Quiet neighborhood, privately situated, nicely decorated, well equipped home; huge master bedroom with private bath, interesting basement space with pool and ping pong table. A short walk to a private beach on beautiful clear Long pond.

Excellent Home

We just rented this home and found it to be perfect. Fully furnished and equipt with a second refrig in the garage and even a pool table in the basement. Roomy,clean and a pretty new propery. This is a home nad not just a rental cottage. The area is central to the whole lower end of the Cape but very quiet and private with a clean large pond just 300 feet away.
