The Red House in Shorey Park

The Red House in Shorey Park is a fully equipped, two storey, four bedroom, four season property. It's sandwiched between the public beach with a boat launch, and downtown Bridgton.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower.

Downstairs there's a bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, sun porch/breakfast room, living room, laundry and deck.

For additional guests the living room and breakfast room both have double size sofa beds.

The porch looks out over Steven’s Brook and a pretty little bridge that marks the remnants of a dam – one of eleven that powered Bridgton’s burgeoning industries during the 19th century. The bridge also marks the starting point of Stephen’s Brook Trail, a two-mile path that takes you along the brook, all the way to Long Lake.

In summer favourite activities include golfing, boating, hiking, Pondicherry Park and Stephen's Brook Trail walks, and eating fresh lobster in the quaint coastal fishing villages. Kayaks are available for rent downtown and are easily walked across the street to the boat launch.

In winter favourite activities include skiing, skating, skidooing, ice fishing, and watching the mushing across the lake. Shawnee Peak is one of New England's finest family ski resorts with a range of ski runs, from beginner to black diamond, and short lift lines!

Bridgton is a picturesque town with plenty to discover. It’s about an hour's drive from Mount Washington Valley and the famous hotel where the goldstandard was agreed in 1937. The coastal drive takes you through some of the quaintest fishing villages known for their lobster bakes.
