Reviews for this vacation cottage rental in Bridgton, Maine

This property turned out to be a little quiet and relaxing paradise. Although situated in town and along Route 302 it is bordered on one side by Steven's Brook and Shorey Park cutting out the potential traffic noise. The property was surrounded on three siders by trees which offered total privacy. We woke up in the morning to birdsong and fell to sleep lulled by the sound of the waterfall under the foot bridge. We enjoyed the tranquility and BQs in the evening and the the stupendous sunsets over the lake. We found the locals friendly and helpful. The wellstocked library only a few minutes walk away and Renny's Department store came in handy on the one or two rainy days while we were there. The highlight of our stay was the Arts in the Park Saturday when local artists exhibited in Shorey Park and local chuches offered weary visitors succulent hamburgers, hotdogs, lobster rolls and drinks. We came away with some lovely gifts for framily and friends at home. It certainly is a place we think of often and hope to come back to again. Judy Moore
Fine for the price.

This was the least expensive rental in the area and housed some of our guests while visiting with us. The home is nothing special, furnishings are dated, and the level of services was low (we had to remove our own trash etc.). But, there was nothing that came close to being as affordable and it served the purpose well with all the needs such as laundry and cooking, outdoor grill etc. accounted for. The public beech across the road and walking into town were good pluses. If you are used to high-end this would not be the place for you but is bargain given the areas summer rental fees.

Excellent location - beautiful town beach and playground right across the street, center of town a 3 minute walk, with restaurants, movie theater, convenience store, etc. Great yard for children, alot of space where they can run and play.
