Description of the Bridgton vacation home rental

This beautiful year round 3,700 square foot multi-level waterfront Chalet is located on 1.5 acres on Moose Pond w/private 200'water frontage and sandy beach entry and literally at the foot of Pleasant Mountain's Shawnee Peak Ski Resort. This house is a perfect place for a family reunion or a few families to vacation year round. This beautifully decorated home sleeps 14-16 people comfortably. This house features a beautiful master bedroom suite with lots of windows, a large balcony with an incredible view of the lake, and a double sink bath. The gourmet kitchen with granite counters and long peninsula, dining room and living room have cathedral ceilings with a large stone fireplace and a deck out back with direct views of the water make this place a wonderful retreat. The large finished basement with TV, Air Hockey and a Ping-Pong Table has sliders that lead out to a large slate patio professionally landscapped and featured in Lake Homes magazineperfect for entertaining. Enjoy the stone firepit for night time fun or cooking s'mores. A large, wide and spacious dock with sitting platform and bench suitable for boat tie-up is also included. Swim up to the raft off the beach and have some fun.

Area Information

Moose Pond is a beautiful 70' deep - 1,694 acre lake great for swimming, fishing, motor boating, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, waterskiing, windsurfing and more.
The house is located across the road from Pleasant Mountain's Shawnee Peak east chairlift. Shawnee Peak is a great family friendly ski mountain with all kinds of skiing options and more than 40 trails. They also have 19 trails lit for night time skiing all season long. It also has one of the largest lit Park/Pike combos in New England!
The town of Bridgton is a lovely quaint town with Drive-In Twin Theatres, movie theatre, shopping, Antiques, restaurants and more.
Golf and tennis are near by at several of the Country Clubs in the area which are open to the public. Outlet shopping, restaurants and more skiing is 20-30 minutes away in North Conway, NH. StoryLand is also 30 minutes away in Glen, NH.
Portland Maine Coast is just one hour away.

Excellent large lake house!

September 8, 2011

We were able to comfortably sleep 11 people in this house-anymore than that and it would have been too much. The house had plenty of space for everyone, and lots to do. The TV was never turned on, not even during the rainy day!
