Description of the Bridgton vacation home rental

Beautiful custom real log home is a four season property on private four acres in upscale community, it has 3 bedrooms 2 baths. Bring your boat or jet skis; there is a slip at the dock area. Snowmobile and four wheel trails are 100 yards away. Highland Lake is known for its crystal clear water and excellent fishing. The lake is 1/4 mile down the end of the cul-de-sac. Shawnee Peak Ski area right in town. Sunday River and North Conway are within 1/2 hour. Fryberg Fair 20 minutes.

Home has two bedrooms a bath and large loft on the second floor, kitchen, bedroom bath dining and living room on first floor with wrap around deck. Basement is walkout with game room and family room.Pillows and blankets provided,must bring other linens.Rental period is Friday to Friday or Sunday to Sunday or Weekends. No Pets Allowed

The perfect escape!!

Hodge Podge Lodge...what a great place! As soon as you step into this beautiful, spacious log home, you are surrounded by a warm and comfortable feeling. This place offers more than most vacation homes. Plenty of space for a large family and lots of extras! The lake is beautiful! We enjoyed a week of swimming and boating and fishing..truly a getaway from the everyday grind. Thank you Hodgetts Family! We will be back!

Best Christmas Ever!

My family had a beautiful white Christmas at your cabin. When we arrived the lights were on and the fireplaces were lit,it was nice and cozy. I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to spend my holiday. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Downstairs was perfect for the kids to play video games and the adults to shoot some pool. Super cool table and chairs downstairs!! The shower on the main floor had a feel of taking a shower outdoors because of all the wood. The only thing i would complain about is that the mattress on the main floor bedroom was uncomfortable and sunk in and the mattress on the bottom bunk in the same room was very hard. Overall this was the best vacation ever. We did not want to leave the cabin the entire time we were there. We will be calling to book another trip very soon. Thanks Steve!

Best family vacation in years

Just wanted to say Thank you to Steve for allowing the Roxbury and the Tyler's a place to stay and have one of the best family vacations in years. This beautiful large log cabin had plenty of space for all 9 of us. Close to the lake for water fun. Close enough drive for a dip in the ocean, nature trails and such. We will be back!

Great vacation week

We rented the house with 12 people and the house worked out great. Kids used the room downstairs to play games and pool. We enjoyed the wrap around deck, cable tv, and wireless internet. We might try the place out again in the warmer weather to get some use out of the nearby lake.

Excellent vacation home! Great common area at lake's edge(swimming dock, boating dock, and pavilon). Great large mouth bass lake. Even with lack of rain this summmer, lake was still clean and clear.

the 4 of us were overwhelmed by the spacious log house. It had everything we needed for a vacation home. The beds are very comfortable. It more than accommodated the four of us. It was close to all the places we wanted to visit. The owner was always available if we had questions. The lighting was great as well as the appliances. The surrounding trees give the feeling of a sanctuary. The driveway wasn't bumpy like some vacation homes.

There was not enough snow to snowmobile but you really didn't want to leave this beautiful house anyway. Everything was great!Loved it and would definately go back!
