Description of the Bristol vacation cabin rental

Cabin on pristine Newfound Lake. The lake is right there - no car to pack or roads to walk across.
Part of Camp Greenwood cabin community (12 other cabins) with sandy beach with roped off swim area, swim raft, dock, large courtyard for games (wiffleball, badminton, horseshoes, etc.). There is a community fireplace for evening fires and a mobile firepit for personal use.
Cabin has a newer kitchen with full stove/oven, microwave, plenty of pots, etc. There are two bedrooms - one with a full bed and one with bunk beds and a twin bed. There is also a full futon in the living area. Bathroom has a shower. Deck has plenty of comfortable furniture. There is a gas grill and a large picnic table for outdoor meals. There is cable TV.
Weekend rentals are available only in spring and fall.
The Cabin is part of Camp Greenwood, which is on a private road called Greenwood Path and does not show up on online map searches. It is off Wulamat Road.

Area Information

Bristol is a small, quiet town with a few restaurants, a market and a state liquor store. The cabin is near Wellington State Park, hiking, Sculptured Rock and Profile Falls.
Boat rentals are available on the lake.
Plymouth is about 30 minutes away and has more shopping (Hannaford, Walmart, Marshalls), Plymouth State College, a movie theater and the Polar Caves. The Tilton outlets are about 45 minutes away.

Boat rentals are available at a few marinas on the lake, and include canoes, kayaks, powerboats and pontoon boats. Day trips for children include Polar Caves, Storyland, Science Center in Holderness. There is a live music venue in Plymouth.

So beautiful!

I grew up going to Newfound Lake every year and have been trying to do the same for my kids. The water can't be beat and especially in front of this cabin. You are not right on the water but can see it from the cabin and it is steps away. Most of the 12 cabins are privately owned and habited by the owners- very friendly group! The beach is nice with space to sit and have your kids build sand castles. The view is amazing and you get to park right behind your cabin.Farm The cabin is very nice with a great bathroom and kitchen with all modern amenities! Beds were comfortable and the new windows, skylights and solid doors were nicer than our own house! Owners were so accommodating and available whenever there was a question. Cannot say enough how great the place is for anyone looking to relax in the mountains with one of the most beautiful views hands down. I grew up in NH and have been lots of places and this is still my favorite! My kids love it there!

Stayed at Camp Greenwood last year - this is the most beautiful place you'll ever stay at with unbelievable views of the mountains, pretty beach and swim to the dock!!! Would go back if there was availability - will book earlier next year:)
