Description of the Bristol vacation cottage rental
$375 per WEEK (not a misprint).
Only 90 mins north from Boston but a world away. It remains "unspoiled" by the commercialism that has trapped many other vacation area lakes. Newfound Lake in NH is one of the countries cleanest and most pristine areas...crystal clear waters that you could drink from. The 7 by 4 mile lake boasts picturesque surrounding mountains that protect it's tranquility.
Nestled at the foot of Newfound are our family owned cottages, Springhill Cottages. A quite woodsy setting in a private area guarded by tall whispering pines and only steps from Newfound Lake's longest, clean and safe "sandy" beach. Our cottages offer two bedrooms (sleeps 4 to 5...2 twins, 1 double, pullout), living room, "cottage" kitchen (pots/pans/flatware/dishes/coffee maker/toaster/fridge), large screened porch and bathroom. Basketball, horseshoe pit and swing set are on the property as well.
Newfound River abuts our land so bring your fishing gear and a new bike path is complete running beside it. The state owned "free" boat launch is a 3 miles away and there are many rivers and local ponds to canoe/kayak. Well marked trails to hike and explore are also within driving/biking/hiking distance. There are restaurants within walking distance (seafood, burgers, pizza, ice cream, Irish pub, tiki bar) as well as a few more up/down the road for fancier dining. A great area for the antique hunters too. Basically, there is more to do up here than you can fit into a week...or just do nothing! Whatever you choose,
