Breathtaking lake views from deck, dining room, living room, family room, master and guest bedrooms. This lovely light-filled home faces west for afternoon sun and sunset views over Mt. Cardigan.

Surrounded by gardens and lawn, this 4,000 + sq. foot custom, beachfront contemporary has an open floor plan with large up-to-date gourmet kitchen and new appliances. The decor is a comfortable combination of contemporary, classic, and antique.

Stone piers frame 200 feet of private waterfront with a dockside mooring for your boat. Private sand beach has gradual entry into lake which appeals to small children and seniors.

Twelve Har-tru and clay tennis courts, a basketball court, orchards and fun, new playground equipment for young children are available as part of the Whittemore Shores community.

Surrounded by the White Mountains, Newfound Lake is part of New Hampshire's Lakes Region. Thirty minutes west of crowded Lake Winnipesaukee, Newfound offers a more serene and gorgeous sand bottomed lake with excellent swimming,fishing, sailing and boating facilities. It is one of the two or three purest lakes in the USA.

Walks and hiking abounds on AMC trails and mountains around the lake, in Audubon Centers, and in Waterville Valley and Franconia NotchThere are also running marathons, biking and bike racing around the lake.

Lots of good auctions and antiquing throughout the area as well as fall festivals, square dancing, bean hole "suppas" and other New England traditions.

Great old inns and restaurants close by include some reachable by boat. New Hampshire Music Festival offers excellent symphonic, chamber and pops concerts during summer. Also summer theater in the area; open air Pop and
Bluegrass concerts in season.
