Description of the Brodheadsville vacation guesthouse rental
The house is centrally located in a tree lined residetial area and close to many of the Poconos attractions. The current rate for the year 2013 is $865 per night for weekends and $850 per night for week days. This rate is limited to 20 people in a group. Additional fee will be charged for a group more than 20 people depending on the size of the group.

This house is perfect for large groups. We had over 30 people and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and plenty of space to do whatever throughout the house. Owner was quick to respond to emails and was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you and see you next year.

This house was outstanding..we had a bunch of friends for after prom! we brought almost everything you would need for a weekend however it didn't have the little things like pot holders, propane- we went out and bought it. Otherwise, it was awesome! I will recommend this to everyone!

Great space, but bring supplies

We used this house for a family reunion and the amount of space was great for us because gave a group of varying ages some privacy with the amount of bedrooms. It is definitely a rental property, so don't expect anything fancy, but it does the trick for a getaway with a big group. Lots of TVs too! A couple of recommendations: If you are planning on cooking, you should bring your own equipment, like knives, pots and pans, etc. There is not much there, and what is there is so worn, we did not want to use it. Same goes for pillows and towels--you can use what is provided, but you will probably want your own. Also, plan to use plastic dishes like we did--we had a group of 20, and while there were enough plates for 20, there was not enough silverware or glassware. The two kitchens was a definite plus in terms of food storage and prep and the number of bathrooms was great for our sized group.

We reviewed Ms. Jenkins comments and respect her rights to free speech. Some of her comments are cotrary to rare reviews wich the property has received over the years. We have addressed a few issues raised by her in reference to the silverware and inadequate supply of towells.

I rented this property for my friends and family to spend New Years away from new york we had a awsome time the house was huge fit every need we needed, very clean, lots of space and lots of beds, The owner very pleasant to deal with and Eddie management was also pleasant. i would definetly rent again.

I know plenty of other reviewers have already mentioned it, but it's hard to write a review without reiterating that this house is MASSIVE. There were 26 in our group, and there were still some beds that were free. It has a full-sized kitchen, massive dining room/living room area, and a second living room in the basement. If anyone is in my position and planning for a large group of people, this information is pretty useful when ti comes to deciding sleeping arrangements, etc: --Basement has three bedrooms: one single small bed in one room, and two bunk beds in each of the other two rooms (making for a total of 4 beds per bunk bed bedroom). There is also a slightly random bed in the basement living room area. = total of 10 beds. The basement was the coldest part of the house. There is one bathroom near the kitchenette area. --First floor has one bedroom and a sitting room that can be used as a bedroom (sofa). There is one bathroom here as well. Don't give this floor to light sleepers, as most activity is on this floor as well. --Second floor has 4 bedrooms: 3 regular bedrooms, and one master bedroom. All have their own private bathroom. I stayed in the master bedroom (perks of organizing), and it was glorious. Really spacious and has a jacuzzi bathtub. Of note, if it is loud in the living room of the first floor, because of the design of the house, you will hear it on the second floor pretty easily. --Third floor has technically two bedrooms, but as a previous post mentioned, they're in an "orphanage" style layout - 4 beds in each bedroom. One bedroom has no windows to the outside, which is good to keep in mind. The living room-ish area on the third floor is VERY spacious, and has three couches, which were used as impromptu nap spots, since the noise from the first floor didn't reach the third floor. It did get fairly hot on the third floor, however, as there was some problem with the ACs so they could not be left running all the time. Things to keep in mind when going: - While the kitchen does have some pots, pans, and utensils, it is a VERY good idea to bring whatever you need on your own. There is only one knife that can be used for chopping, no strainers, and enough utensils for 10 or so people. - You are limited to 3/4 garbage bags. any extra cost 5$ each. - The garage can fit two cars + 5 more in driveway. Overall, a very pleasant experience, especially in dealing with Sylvester and the property manager, Mylon. Check-in time

I rented this home for a birthday party, there were 14 of us so you can imagine how much extra room there was! It's a huge home and everyone has their own space to do what they want. The owner/ manager were very accommodating since we checked in later than usual. Everything was perfect and all my guests enjoyed their getaway. It was a great success!

This house is gigantic. The owner uses the space in order to maximize the amount of people that can stay there, which is perfect for large groups or multiple families. There are many bathrooms, lots of space to spread out, and all of the necessary amenities. In comparison to other Poconos properties, this place is top notch! The owner is very nice and the property manager was prompt upon check-in and check-out. Book in advance as this place goes quick!

The rental was beyond what I could have imagined! The pictures online really doesn't do the house much justice, because it is waaay more spacious and has such great lighting that cant always be captured on camera! With all the space, 4 floors, beds everywhere, neat, amazing lighting from the large windows, and great amenities it was truly a pleasure to have the opportunity to stay there. My guests, as well as myself really had such an incredible time! The property manager Eddie was awesome! Very polite and professional and really made us feel welcomed. I had a pretty large group, and we didn't feel cramped because of the spacious lay out of the home, the hot water didn't run out, the heating was well controlled, and overall-the house was so cozy, it just made everyone feel right at home! I have rented another Poconos property before and this one by far takes the cake! I would recommend to anyone with a large group that is willing to have fun and enjoy all this house has to offer!! :) There is really not enough stars to rate this home! I give it a 10!

This is the perfect rental for a large group of people. The many beds and bedrooms allows everyone to sleep comfortably. It also has a pingpong table and lots of tvs and dvd players so there is something for everyone to do!

First of all, the pictures do not do this house justice. The house is 4 floors of brand new equipment, furniture, and pure comfort. Many of the rooms are orphanage style in terms of their bed layouts, which is certainly not a bad thing at all. The owner and house manager with extremely friendly, professional, and easy to work with. If you are looking for a house in the Poconos area and this one is open, you would be extremely foolish not to get this one.

The pictures posted do do this house justice. The master suite was huge with a large bath with a jacuzzi tub. 3 additional bedrooms have their own private bath. Their is a large loft on the 4th level. TVS in every room. Plenty of space. Large stocked kitchen. Diningroom to seat 8. Close to attractions. I am looking forward to renting this house again.
