Description of the Brooklyn vacation apartment rental

Short term weekly saturday to saturday rental: Fully furnished, 1 bedroom apartment with satellite TV (HBO, SHO), WiFi, AC in both rooms, full kitchen/living/dining area with pull out couch, plus separate room with double bed. Full bath. This is not a share. You have your own entrance, keys, space. Ideal for parents visiting kids and grandkids in the area. Near 2/3 Q/B trains, Prospect Park, Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Gardens. No large groups please. No pets. We have a one bedroom apartment at $100 per night and a room with bathroom and minifridge for $75 per night. They are both located on the 2nd floor (one short flight up) of a renovated Brooklyn Brownstone on a tree-lined block, steps away from the 2/3 train at Bergen and 2 blocks away from the B/Q at 7th Ave, at St. Marks ave and Flatbush. We are a short walk from Prospect Park, Park Slope, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the Brooklyn Museum. We are one block away from the many restaurants that line 5th Ave.

We rent exclusively from saturday to saturday. You are welcome to stay for a shorter time, but you must reserve and pay for the entire week.

We ask for a 3 night deposit per week to be payable in cash, if you have a local connection, or through Paypal with a $10 fee. This deposit is non-refundable unless we can find someone to take your place for your entire stay should you have to cancel. The balance will be due in cash upon your arrival. Check in is at 2pm and Check out is at 11am.

A set of sheets and towels will be provided for each week of your stay. The room has only a mini-fridge and no cooking/coffee making facility. The apartment has a full but small kitchen with cooking utensils/pots/pans and plates/silverware. We have a strict no smoking/incense/pet policy due to severe allergies in the building. No one will be accessing your space while you are in it. We do have WiFi access should you want to bring your laptop.

The units are available to be shown only when they are not occupied. As such, you can rest assured that you will not be disturbed while you are staying in the unit. What that also means, though, is that you can only preview the unit on Saturdays between 11 and 2pm, while they are being cleaned in preparation for incoming guests. If you wish to see the unit before booking, please let me know and we shall make an appointment during those hours. Please note that because of the volume of requests, we operate on a first-come first-served basis, and cannot hold the units while you make your decision. Your deposit will reserve the units.

Prospect Heights is a residential community near Park Slope Brooklyn. Near all trains, Prospect park, Brooklyn Museum, Botanic Gardens, Hundreds of restaurants, shops, and 10 min subway ride from downtown manhattan. Near LIRR -- easy access to long island. Close to LGA and JFK.
