The apartment was great--clean, quiet, fairly spacious, and offered good amenities. The host was friendly and informative both before and during the stay. Our only problem (and it was a fairly big one for us), is that it took at least an hour (one-way) on the subway to reach most of the main attractions in Manhattan. Granted, we were visiting during a holiday period so the subway wasn't running as frequently and, of course, we should've done better research ourselves beforehand, but for three young women, we were hoping it would be a little bit easier to get to and from all of the things we wanted to do in the city and the apartment. It was obviously something we could work-around and for the price during a peak season, we were very happy with the apartment, but other possible renters should keep it in mind and be sure to balance their priorities.

I am very glad that I found this apartment. Very clean, conveniently located, close to subway. There was everything to feel like home. I will definitely use this apartment when i am back in New York - hope it will be available at that time.

I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. The place was very nice and clean, as promised. I have absolutely no complaints. What I loved most, however, was the location. This was a big issue for me to find a place that was close to everything. Since it was my first time in New York I wanted to see all there is to see. The subway was walking distance away from the apartment and Manhattan was about 25-30 minutes away by train. As far as the food goes, there are so many places nearby; restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores…etc. Another plus was that you can also walk to the beach/boardwalk, where there are even more restaurants and also bars. The owner Dimitry was very nice and helped me with anything and everything which was much appreciated. I definitely recommend this apartment and will stay here next time I visit New York.

I want to express my appreciation to owner. The house was very convenient to local diner and public transportation, 5 minutes walk from train station and 25 minute ride to Manhattan. Owner provided several maps and guides to help us get around the City App... Is very clean, with comfortable furniture, clean sheets and towels Safe Area- A good place evening walks to close by stores and restaurants. New Apartment- Everything is brand new and lovely. Bedrooms- Comfortable with new beds and cozy comforters. Bathrooms- Clean and fresh. Kitchen-fully equipped. This apartment was perfect for us . Definitely the best place we've ever stayed in and we will most certainly be returning there on our next trip to NYC.

Can easily say this is a great place to stay, handy for transport to city, quiet at night, plenty of shops very local. Getting picked up and dropped off at JFK by Dmitry ( a real nice guy) the owner is handy, and takes the hassle out of arranging transport. Overall had a great time, the appartment is clean, comfortable and seriously warm, with everything you'll need for self catering. Recomended!
We stayed at this property for a two weeks in June of 2009. It was clean and spacious and the landlord was very nice and helpful. The location is great-a beautiful area of Brooklyn away from the hustle of NYC but still within very easy reach of The Big Apple and with many good restaurants and all the shop's you need . The Subway and the beach is just 10 minutes away.I would recommend this place to anyone and definitely stay there again.
