Really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfect for a Thanksgiving get-a-way. We used the hot tub every day and enjoyed playing pool in the loft area. The kitchen was also great; loved the gas stove. The cabin offered a beautiful view; it was of the highest on the mountain. But, that did present challenges getting up the final drive way. Both SUVs had to make several attempts to get up the final drive; we kept spinning out on the soft spots. Unfortunately, this caused us to not leave the cabin as often as planned for fear of not being able to get back up the drive way. Might want to consider adding some additional gravel and/or grating. Other than that, the only other constructive feedback would be to invest in some additional rocking chairs for the porch. There were only 3 rocking chairs, but we had 4 people. Thanks for a great vacation!

Enjoyed the seclusion and the luxury. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains were fabulous. It was very close to rafting and hiking in the Smokey Mountains. Loved it.

We stayed in this beautiful cabin which was at the top of a mountain. We had complete privacy and after we arrived we knew we had made the perfect choice after we passed right beside a few cabins on the way up. It has the most wonderful views and the full moon just made it so much better. The cabin was very nice and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was great in the evenings and it was very cozy. It was a very relaxing place to stay. We will definitely be visiting it again and again. It was close to Bryson City and close enough to visit Nantahala during the day for activities. Thanks for having an awesome, affordable place to stay. Looking forward to the next visit.

Breathtaking views from the decks. No problem getting out of bed in the morning to see the spectacular views from the master bedroom. Beautiful cabin in secluded area of the Smokey Mountains but still close to Bryson City. We totally loved the time there.

The view from the cabin was absolutely stunning - we couldn't seem to stay off the deck, day or night! You could see every star in the sky!! The kitchen was very well equipped, and we used the gas grill and fireplaces each night and enjoyed them very much. Everything we needed was there! The cabin would have gotten 5 stars except that the master bathtub drain would not close, so we couldn't use the jacuzzi tub - the outdoor hot tub worked great, though. Also, would have loved a stereo or iPod dock. Otherwise, great for a vacation getaway - we had a romantic trip for two this time, but would love to come back with another couple next time!

This cabin is a little hard to get to at night. When we first arrived it was dark. One of the street signs was missing, just before the one-lane bridge. Wow! We woke up to breathe taking views. I could just sit on the porch all day and look at the beautiful scenary. The cabin has all the amenities, hot tub on porch, jacuzzi tub in master, pool table in loft, and nice kitchen. Our family really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others. It is about a 15 minute drive into Bryson city. It is located high on the mountain with no loud noises and traffic...just you and nature. Great place to just get away from the hussle and bussle of our busy lives.

What a wonderful vacation in a quiet mountain setting. Views of the Great Smokey mountains go on forever. Top of the line log home. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool table - both had views! Last few feet of drive up are a bit treacherous but my 4 cyl car made it without a problem. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We wanted to do something relaxing after our wedding and this was the perfect cabin! Very secluded and gorgeous mountain views. It was nicely decorated and had everything that we needed for the week. We enjoyed spending most of our vacation just relaxing in the cabin, cooking and watching movies.

We really enjoyed this quaint cabin very much. It is the last cabin at the top of the road with an outstanding winter view. We even got snow on our last day we were there. 500 feet down, it didn't stick. The road is a little scary going up. We even had to back up and gun it up the last 100ft due to loose, wet gravel. But it was worth it. The hot tub was oh so deliciously warm on the freezing Nov evening. The house had all the amenities we could need: cable TV, 2 fireplaces, pool table, laundry, kitchen, hot tub. (The toaster and coffee maker could use replacing, though.) It was so far off the beaten path, however, we decided that it was either best to go out only once a day if at all. That is it's a great cabin to come home to, but not something you can hop in and out from. The closet cabin is about 100' down the road. It is below and in view. But the distance still gives one of seclusion. And did I mention the view? Awesome!

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The photos of the view and the cabin do not do it justice. The cabin is secluded from view of the neighboring cabins. Just what we were looking for. I would suggest a four wheel drive (or a 6 cyclinder front wheel drive) for the drive up.

Great place with great views! The pool table is great! Make sure you get to the ziplines at Nantahala Canopy tours and do the jet boat ride that is combined with lunch and a hike.
Very family friendly stuff. Both of them about 7 miles away from here.

It started to rain our 2nd day here because of tropical storm Lee so we stayed in the cabin and enjoyed all it has to offer. Even with cloudy days the view is exceptional! What a beautiful cabin! We found everything to be just what we needed clean, remote, and homey. We saw a lot of turkeys here on the mountain and also saw a lot of elk at the visitors center for the GSMNP north of Cherokee apparently they hang out there each night. Had a blast with the pool table and hot tub. Thanks for a memorable and relaxing honeymoon! PS, good places to eat in town (Bryson): Jimmy Macs, The Filling Station, and Nantahala Brewing (no food, but good beer!)
