Fabulous View, Location, and Privacy in the Smokie

Mountain Vista is a wonderful private mountain chalet in the Smokies. It's close to many attractions like the Great Smokies Railroad, whitewater rafting, and more. An easy access road take you halfway up Mission Mountain where you'll find your mountain home. Enjoy the incredible view from the deck of your very own private cedar chalet. The huge loft has a master bedroom with new king bed. There is also a full bath, reading nook and an unbelievable view of Stecoah Valley and distant mountains with ever changing hues. Downstairs is another bedroom with full bath across the hall. This bedroom has twin beds which can be placed together if you desire.
You'll enjoy the great room. There's a beautiful stone fireplace, media center with DVD's, two sliding glass doors off the deck, a dining area, and complete upscale kitchen; it even has a waffle iron. Try my mountain waffles on the deck with a morning cup of coffee and a view to die for!
Tired of hiking, fishing, boating, rafting, tubing, and sightseeing? Relax in the hammock with a good book from our own library, cook steaks out on the grill, or watch the antics of the hummingbirds. At night, sit around the fire pit and roast marshmallows. What's nice, if you decide to check on your business or what's going on back home, we have wifi!
Whatever you decide to do, you'll love Mountain Vista. We have a number of renters who come back year after year.

This part of the Smokies is right in the middle of the Nantahala National Forest. What does that mean? It means whitewater rafting, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, pontoon boating zip lines, all within a short drive. With the price of gas nowadays, that's a big deal!
You can visit the Cherohala Skyline, waterfalls, The Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, the Great Smokies Railroad, Deep Creek, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and more within less than an hour. If you like biking, there's Tsali right down the road. Motorcycles are not far from Deal's Gap and the Tail of the Dragon.
Drive a little further...a bit more than an hour...and you'll see the Biltmore House, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and more. You can be in the middle of "mountain tourism" within a short drive. Luckily, you'll be able to escape to your own mountain hideaway where nature comes first. Really, what does one come to the mountains for? If it's the beauty of nature, incredible sights, lots to do, and a chance to be in "God's Country," this is the place.
