"Above The Ridge”. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath real log cabin is perched high above ”Lands Creek” and the “Road To Nowhere”, located just minutes from the Appalachian Trail, Fontana Lake, Tsali Recreation area with it’s world class mountain biking trails and for you night owls, Harrah's Casino.
You can sit on the decks and watch the twinkling lights from the cabins on the distant mountain ranges. Everyday has a masterpiece of colors waiting for you as they dance across the mountain from daybreak to sunset.
Up to the Top! Like all great secluded mountain cabins, you have to "climb" the mountain to get to the view. Any normal vehicle can make the "climb", but it might be one of the steepest roads you've ever driven!
After a long day hiking, fishing, or running the Nantahala River on a raft with a bunch of your friends and family, you can return to this cozy cabin as you stretch out on the comfy leather couch in front of the gas stone fireplace. You’ll find what you need to make dinner special in the well appointed kitchen. Don’t feel like cooking? Check out the variety of restaurants just down the road in downtown Bryson City. If you still have the energy you can have some fun on the foosball table in the loft or sit around the fire pit as the fire cuts through the cool night mountain air. When you’re ready to retire for the night, you can crawl into a cozy bed and dream about the next day’s adventures.
3 Bedrooms & 2 Baths: Master bedroom has a king-size bed and a futon for family togetherness. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen-size bed. There are TVs in all the bedrooms.

Wonderful weekend

We really enjoyed our girls weekend at the cabin. The only thing we did not like was the driveway and we set the ADT alarm off thinking we could use the same code as we did to get the key out of the lock box. I would suggest warning people a little better about the driveway and also the alarm. We also didnt realize we had left a few things there until a few days later and nobody has tried to contact us about it. I feel like if someone leaves something you should contact them and ask them if they knew and if they wanted it mailed back of course with us paying for postage. The check out time was a little early. Who wants to leave a beautiful place like that so early?!!? Overall it was a great weekend with a great view.
