With an easy access road, covered parking, and plenty of room for a boat, this 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin is the perfect base camp for enjoying Fontana Lake with all the comforts of home and more. With 10,640 acres of lake, pontoons, fishing, and more, Fontana Lake is a sportsman’s dream with some of the best Pike and Bass fishing in the area. Secluded by the Nantahala National Forest right in the back yard, Forest Lake Cabin has trails from the property for your hiking leisure.
The full kitchen is well stocked with a dishwasher and espresso maker. The kitchen table seats six and can be opened to a poker table. Don’t feel like cooking? Restaurants in nearby Bryson City and the Nantahala Gorge are just a few minutes away. Cozy and inviting, you’ll love the living room with the satellite TV, leather sofas, and gas fireplace.
The master bedroom on the main floor has a queen-size bed, a satellite TV and bathroom. The downstairs bedroom also has a queen-size bed, and has a full bath with a washer and dryer. The game room downstairs has another satellite TV, a pool table, and a poker table. The patio off of the game room has an outdoor stereo system and a lovely sitting area.
Do you have to bring your work with you or need to keep in touch with the outside world? The guest computer in the loft office nook has internet access for your convenience. Also in the Loft the sitting area is a fourth TV with PlayStation2 and VHS/DVD Player, another full bathroom. The loft bedroom has a full bed with a twin bunk over it and a twin trundle under it and an electronic football game.
Enjoy the outdoors around this cabin whether your feel like hiking or not – the hot tub is welcoming after a long day of adventure. Enjoy the wooded view from the covered porch from the table or the wooden rocking chairs.
