Hacienda Patrizia is a Private Boutique Style Villa located in Bucerias, Riviera Nayarit, Mexico just 10 miles north of Puerto Vallarta’s International Airport and 15 minutes south of the world-renowned Four Seasons Resort, Punta Mita and the bohemian surf village of Sayulita. This Brand New Hacienda offers a four bedroom main villa with a private courtyard pool and palapa bar, along with four independently furnished and decorated two bedroom, one bath casita apartments. This property is perfect for beach weddings, large groups or family reunions and is available privately on a six bedroom minimum rental. The villa rental has individual rates for 6-12 BR (please see rates below). For larger groups, this villa can be rented along with Hacienda Camino al Mar (Property #39273) which is a 7 Bedroom Fully Staffed Luxury Property located on the same street (for a total of 19 Bedrooms). The lush tropical gardens and gated home site are located in the exclusive Zona Dorada area of the Bucerias community, a minutes walk to the beach, great restaurants, shopping and art gallery hopping.

For those who love nightlife and fine dining, the city lights of Puerto Vallarta are a shimmering reminder that town is just a decision away. However, if long, plush fine sandy beaches and gentle surf is more to your liking, that’s available as well... less than a minute walk to the beach and enjoy.

November through March is whale watching season and if you would like to observe the migrating and calving Humpback whales from a local village panga the service is readily available.

The villa comes with full time staff on the property, your cook and maid, who will attend to general housekeeping and the preparation of two meals per day. Ramon is an excellent chef/bartender and can prepare most any culinary delight. His services are included in the rental fee. Of course, the cost of groceries and tip are covered by the guests.

Bucerias (meaning "place of divers") is a quaint little fishing town, that is beginning to attract those who don't want the hustle and bustle of Puerto Vallarta, but want amenities of a vacation resort town. Nestled between Nuevo Vallarta and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Bucerias is truly coming into its own as a favored spot for vacationers. It’s central location in the Bay make for a good base to visit Sayulita (a cute bohemian surf village 8 miles north) or Punta Mita (also 8 months north).
Bucerias, which is part of Riviera Nayarit is surrounded by mountains and jungle which donates 345 days of sunshine a year. Bucerias has a steady temperature of 80 degrees F (27 C) during the peak tourist season with a cool breeze at night from the ocean that makes sleeping pleasant.
Bucerias is only about 10 km from the Gustavo Diaz International airport (PVR). You can easily take a cab to Bucerias, or for the more adventurous, for $10 Pesos (about $1 USD), you can take a bus into town. Simply cross the walkway and take a bus with "Bucerias" painted on the windshield.
You can tell by the numerous developments and the addition of the Mega store, that Bucerias is growing. There are plenty of restaurants to fit any taste and budget. Try the local favorites such as tacos right on the street, fresh seafood and a wide variety of other places, each unique in their offerings. There are plenty of tours and activities that can be taken, but for many tourists and locals alike, meeting in the cool evening at the town square is a ritual. While eating a fresh Churro, you can meet tourists and locals and exchange in casual conversations.
Bucerias also has many art galleries and a great art walk during the peak season.
There are many shops in town, and many tourists come to Bucerias to get souvenirs that are less expensive than Puerto Vallarta.
Of course, the main reason to be in Bucerias is that it boasts 15 miles of sandy beaches, the longest in Banderas Bay. Apart from Sundays, where the locals bring their families, the beach is relatively quiet and the number of beach sellers is much lower than Puerto Vallarta. The shallow water and the waves are great for boogie boarding and swimming, and the beach makes for great walks and jogging.
