Description of the Buckeye vacation home rental

Our friend kids named our vacation home in Verrado Tammy, Richard & Vance's FUN HOUSE. It is just exaclty that and located in Verrado just outside Phoenix.

Only about 1 mile from Raven at Verrado Clubhouse.

Vacation Rental Cardinal NFL Spring Training NASCAPerfect Vacation home for FUN, golf, baseball, NFL, football NCAA Fiesta Bowl,Nascar, Spring Training, shopping, hiking and just relaxing in the beautiful White Tank Foothills just west of Phoenix. Go to downtown Verrado and enjoy the small "oldtown" charm or cross the street and enjoy championship golf at The Raven. This house is exclusively furnished for fun with a big screen HD TV (seven total TV's) with Cox cable. Comment from our first guests..... "I would add on in your description you have online, amenities are available for young children (toddlers). I was overjoyed when I saw your den and Vance's bedroom." The back yard is a putting and chipping golf green. The patio is complete with gas BBQ grille and furniture. The kitchen is open to the family room and dining area with stainless steel appliances, cherry cabinets, granite counter tops and an island perfect for laying out a nice buffet. There is no living room--instead, it is a mega playroom with pool table, slot machine, pinball, "Golden Tee" golf video game, air hockey, tons of sports decorations and an old fashioned popcorn machine. The play area upstairs was designed with our three-year-old son in mind and is the center area between the three bedrooms. There is a twin bed in our son's room, a "double" futon in the other bedroom, and a real nice king bed in the master. There are two full size couches in the family room that could also be used for sleeping. There are two full baths upstairs and a half bath downstairs. There is a full laundry room upstairs. Although there is a two car garage, there is only room to park one car inside as we keep a car here. There is, however, plenty of room to park in the long driveway. The front porch is a great place to hang out as well with eight chairs. Lots of windows to enjoy the warm Arizona sun and just too much fun to list. We are clean freaks and do not allow pets or smoking on the property. "Sleeps 7" includes the two oversized leather couches in the family room. Owner reserves right to enter property at any time for inspection, repairs, maintenance. Owner reserves right to decline sublets for any or no reason. Garage is occupied with owners vehicles, one of which may be moved into the street by you during your stay.

Search Verrado for more area information. What we enjoy about Verrado is that it is a destination location loaded with parks and close enough to everything Phoenix has to offer but without the hassles. Tons of golf, shopping, professional sports and everything else you could hope for.

 Top-notch comfort, convenience, clean, March 11, 2009

We would highly recommend this rental and would stay there again. As we do a fair bit of travel, one of the qualities we appreciate is cleanliness--the "Fun House" was exceptional in this regard. The house is comfortable, has great amenities, and is in a great community. We have stayed in about a dozen owner rentals and Richard was one of the most accomodating and communicative owners we have dealt with. We really enjoyed the convenience of the mid-sized supermarket, Italian restaurant and coffee shop in the nearby picturesque downtown area and the top-notch golf course. Brand name shopping i.e., Target, Barnes and Noble, etc. is only 10 minutes away, Sky Harbour is an easy 30 minutes, sports attractions are 10-30 minutes away. It felt like home for our two adult daughters and infant grandson. MRL, Calgary, Alberta

We had a wonderful stay here. The house has great amenities. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, great location for baseball, golf, hiking and shopping. A good family retreat. Probably not what you are looking for if you want a lively night life. Great for outdoor people how like to hike, bike or golf. The health club is top notch! The owners are also great to work with and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I would definitely stay there again.

We spent a relaxing extended Valentine day weekend at the house this year. The drive in from Sky Harbor is easy. The Verrado is a nice place to spend some down time enjoying relaxing walks and some challenging golf on a great course. The house was setup with all the items needed for the week plus.... All in all it was well spent time. We plan to make this an annual trip and have put it on our calendar for 2010.

We rented this house for 10 days in Dec 08/Jan 09. The house was very clean adn had all of the things we needed to make our stay very comfortable. We enjoyed all of the "toys" and they made our stay memorable. The owners were very easy to work with and had very good communication. I wild definitely rent this house again when we visit family in the area.

We stayed for 1 week and enjoyed every minute. The "fun house" had a pool table, arcade golf game, pin ball machine, and air hockey, not to mention a popcorn maker! The upstairs den was perfect for my children, 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 years old. Decorated with toys galore, books, and a television set for the kids. Everything for laundry was right upstairs as well along with two separate full baths. Very clean. The owner called us to make sure our stay was perfect. Smooth financial transaction...I was able to pay via credit card through PayPal. The neighborhood was beautiful. Great parks for the kids a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay!
