Description of the Budapest vacation apartment rental

Sleeps 2/4. 1 bedroom apartment in the very centre of Budapest. Breathtaking view of Danube from living room window. A rare location. Newly renovated to the highest standard, Internet, Fourth floor with elevator. Tourist attractions, nightlife, bars and restaurants within easy walking reach.
October - March 350 euros per week, 60 euro per night
April - Sept 420 euros per week, 70 euro per night.

Minimum letting period is 2 nights. 3rd and 4th person, price negotiable. Can also be negotiated for longer stays.

ACCOMMODATION
1 bedroom with double bed which can be separated into 2 singles. 2 bedside lockers and lamps, CD player combined with clock/radio, built-in wardrobe with full length mirror, hairdryer.
En suite bathroom with corner shower, wc, washbasin and mirror, heated towel rail and water heater.
Bathroom has extra door to living area to accommodate people sleeping on living room sofa bed.
Beautiful cherry wood kitchen with granite worktop. Fitted with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, combined washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, tea pot, coffee pot, table-ware and cooking utensils, ironing board and iron.
Living Room has large comfortable sofa bed which sleeps 2, wall mounted LCD TV, CD/MP3-DVD player, coffee table. Standing lamp with dimmer lights, table and 4 chairs. Electric window shutters with remote control for window overlooking Danube. Original wall paintings.

The price includes all costs i.e. electricity, gas. Bed linen and sufficient towels are included. The apartment is fully cleaned and serviced before arrival. There are no hidden additional costs.

20% deposit required to confirm booking. Balance in cash to be paid on arrival to agent or if preferred to owner through bank transfer or PayPal.
Before traveling you will receive and email attachment with full information on all you need to know regarding apartment, keys, local shops opening hours, places of interest etc.

Area Description

Enjoy the romantic charm and atmosphere, of this beautiful ever changing view of the Danube - the main tourist attraction of Budapest from your living room window, without even having to leave your apartment. At night enjoy the Danube glistening in the lights of the city. Enjoy your meal while watching the boats sail on by, as the apartment floor has been raised to give easier viewing while sitting. The Gellert Hill, Citadel and Elizabeth Bridge is directly across from your window. To the right you will see the famous Chain Bridge and Buda Castle. To the left you will see the Gellert Hotel, famous for its medicinal baths. The apartment has the added advantage of being situated in the most central part of downtown Budapest, within walking distance of most tourist attractions. Because it is a 4th floor apartment, street noise is very low and view is enhanced. Although this is a classical apartment in a historic building, it is also very modern, bright and comfortable.

Looking out of your living room window it almost feels as if the Danube is flowing just for you. No need to close shutters for privacy as apartment is not overlooked. Outside your front door you can take a stroll along its banks. Cross the road from your front door for the Number 2 tram. This tram is the essential 'tourist' tram because it runs along the Danube from Margit Hid to Szabadsag hid - the length of the 5th district.
The famous Vaci Utca main shopping and pedestrianised street is just 100 meters away. 24 hour shop around corner in Iranyi street.
There is a Tourist Information Office on the ground floor of the same building.

Other Fees: If required the agent for this apartment will provide transport from airport to apartment and back to the airport. Cost 35 euros. Single trip 20 euros.

Great place for a holiday, August 22, 2009

We booked a lastminutestay in this apartment. The picture on internet is nice, but then the apartment itselve is still a surprise. Fresh, lot's of light, nice, clean and comfortable. It is seldom that i don't have any allergic problems on holidays, but this time i had none. When staying with four you'll be out all day i think, but with two you also can have a nice staying-home-and-read day, cook a nice meal, or just relax and look outside all day. The apartment is on a good spot in the centre and near public traffic. We loved our stay.
