Description of the Budapest vacation apartment rental
This newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment (sleeps 2/3) is bright and airy, is furnished and fitted to a very high standard and features cable TV and wireless internet access.

The apartment has unique architectural features including original high brickwork ceilings and arched doors. The main room and bedroom have authentic dark parquet floors. The main room features a leather couch and armchair and a dining table.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes and oven, hob, mircowave, large fridge and washing machine.

The apartment is situated in the very heart of the city on the pedestrianised Vörösmarty tér and one hundred metres from the Danube embankment. Despite its central location, the apartment is tucked away from the bustle of the city on the third floor (lift accessible) in the building's central courtyard.

The building is opposite the famous Gerbaud cafe and is surrounded by restaurants (such as the newly opened Hard Rock Cafe) and cafes on Vörösmarty tér and on the corner of the famous Vaci utca shopping street. The apartment is only two hundred metres from the Déak tér metro stop where all three metro lines meet providing speedy access to all parts of the city, both Buda and Pest.

Area Info
Outside the building's front door lies the picturesque pedestrianised Vorosmarty ter with the famouse Gerbaud coffee house. Around the corner is the famous Vaci utca shopping street.

The apartment is situated 100m from the Danube promenade stretching from the historic chain bridge to the more modern Elizabeth bridge and the central market hall. Lined with many and varied restaurants and cafes, it is a great place for a evening pre-dinner stroll with a view of Buda.

Two hundred metres in the opposite direction is the night life centre of Madach ter and Kazsincy utca filled with eclectic bars and Budapest's famous 'ruin' pubs and city centre garden bars.

Most of the city's major sights lie within five hundred metres of the apartment building, such as tSt. Stephen's Basilica, the Neo-Gothic Parliament building and the central market hall. Directly on Vorosmarty ter is the terminal station for the hundred-year-old underground which brings you directly to the impressive Hero's Square and the city park with the Szechenyi bath house.
