Description of the Buena Vista vacation cabin rental

Beautiful newly constructed cabin with views from every window, opened May 2010. Set on 3 1/2 acres with over a million acres of San Isabel National Forest out the front door, this 3000 ft2 cabin offers its guests peace and seclusion yet access to nearly unlimited outdoor activities only minutes away. Much thought has been given down to the smallest detail to create an ideal setting for a family vacation or small group retreats/getaways. From luxurious towels to fun built in bunk beds the kids will love, you will find the cabin has everything you need and more. Enjoy a cup of coffee on our 700 ft2 deck or use one of our bikes to check out the bike paths near the property. After a day of activity, come back to snuggle up by the stone gas fireplace to play a board game or watch a DVD in HD from our very large collection. The cabin is intentionally designed to be big enough to vacation with Grandma and Grandpa or another family, yet not too big if you are a small family on a summer vacation. From September - May we offer the cabin primarily for weekend scrapbooking/small group retreats, although vacationers are welcome anytime. Contact us for scrapbooking and small group retreat rates.

Area Information

If you want to get out and explore the area you will find there are more things to do than you have time for! Buena Vista is home to the Arkansas River, providing world-class whitewater rafting and fly fishing. It also hosts the largest concentration of 14,000+ mountains in Colorado, offering spectacular scenery and endless outdoor activity. Here's what you will find within 20 minutes of the cabin: horseback riding, hiking/biking, whitewater rafting, fly fishing (public access), golf, ATV and Jeep rental, hot air balloon rides, zip lines, mountain climbing, and hot springs. There is much to do during the winter months as well. Monarch Mountain and Breckenridge ski resorts are a 45 minute drive. Even closer are snowmobile trails and rentals, snowshoeing, and sleigh rides. The lively town of Buena Vista is only 15 minutes away and offers many activities,restaurants and shops.

Great Cabin

The cabin was everything that we expected and more - the pictures do the cabin no justice, it's definitely a must see! The morning and evening views from the cabin were fantastic! At first we couldn't understand why the cabin only had one TV but after the second day of being there - I absolutely understand why they did, the cabin and views are way to beautiful to waste around by watching TV! Many times we found ourselves sitting in Awe & just taking it all in :) - I definitely recommend this cabin! Great place!
