Description of the Bullhead City vacation home rental

PERFECT SNOWBIRD RETREAT: This charming two bedroom, site-built home is located in a quiet neighborhood on the Chaparral Country Club Golf Course, two 1/2 blocks from the Colorado River and 9 miles from Laughlin. Public boat launches are within minutes. Enjoy the casinos, water sports, fishing, outlet shopping, golfing, tennis and more. This is not a party house! It has upgraded carpet and floor tile throughout and a large kitchen with lots of counter space and unexpected amenities like HD TV, a leather recliner and newer appliances. The home has a "great room" that looks out to the golf course, a large master suite with his and her closets, a queen guest bedroom with a walk-in closet and two full bathrooms with plenty of linens. The furnished back patio is a great place to eat, play cards, or gaze at a beautiful lake and two fairways. With comfortable furnishings, lots of conveniences and an easy care yard this place will be your favorite home away from home.

Area Information

This centrally located home backs up to the 4th tee of the Chaparral Country Club Golf Course, two 1/2 blocks from the Colorado River, 9 miles from the Laughlin Casinos with a Target, Wal-Mart & Kohl's for convenient shopping and lot's of restaurants nearby. Lake Mohave, Davis Dam, the old western town of Oatman are also close by. Lake Havasu is about 45 minutes away and Las Vegas is less than 2 hours by car.

Home away from home

Our 2 month stay seemed to go by far too quickly. We found the house to be as advertized with a well stocked kitchen and all the major amenities to make our stay comfortable. Even though we are not golfers we enjoyed watching the golfers and the ducks that follow them around the greens. We enjoyed walking and walked most of the walking trails in the area. We also used it as a home base to look around the surrounding area such as Laughlin, Oatman, Kingman, Needles, Lake Havasu and Yuma. The location in Bullhead is excellent with easy accessibility to most of our needs. The owners were always very prompt in answering any of our questions. Since retiring my husband and I have rented several vacation homes. We found this home to be the best equipped and most immaculate. Loved having our coffee on the patio each morning and watching the golfers. Beautiful area to walk, which we enjoyed doing each day. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. I am sorry we will not be able to return next year. We highly recommend this home.

It was a pleasure staying at this comfortable home, it was well-equipped all we needed was our clothes. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio, watching the golfers, the ducks, the two geese(just like in the two pictures) and the mountains in the background. We could also go golfing, shopping, sightseeing or to the casino--everything was close-by. We are hoping that we will be able to stay there again.

Lovely clean and comfortable home on the golf course. Good location for quick trips to Laughlin, Las Vegas, Lake Havasu, Oatman, etc. Owner was very good to deal with. Would definitely recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for a place to relax.

Q:Is the stove gas or electric?

A:Electric.

Q:Do you supply cleaning products or do I have to bring them?

A:We know snowbirds like to keep a clean home so we provide cleaning products like 409, Lysol wipes, Comet, Windex, dishwasher detergent, terrycloth rags and more.

Q:Can we use the gas grill?

A:Yes, you are welcome to use our gas grill and propane. However, if it runs out of propane during your stay, we will not refill it for you. Tanks can be refilled at Walmart.

Q:Is there a fee for playing golf at your course?

A:Yes. Although we are located on the golf course, the club is completely separate from us. The course is open to the public and often offers a snowbird discounted season pass.

Q:Are you located in a gated community?

A:No. Our home is not located in a gated community nor are we a part of an HOA. FYI: You can park freely on the street, in the driveway or in the attached garage.

Q:Do you offer movie channels?

A:Yes, our satellite package includes HBO, Showtime and Cinemax along with most of the traditional sports channels.
