Cool Waters is a local favorite swimming hole offering both a peaceful and scenic experience. The good news is you can also safely jet ski, water ski and wake board from this location. The large boulders discourage watercraft from roaring down the Colorado River at Cool Waters, which means the water is NEVER choppy or busy. A haven for fishing, swimming and canoeing, picnics or just relaxing, Cool Waters is a favorite vacation location.

the location of the property was good but was lacking in the amenities. The cable wasn't working, the kitchen had only plastic dishes and very cheap utensils. As we ate there every meal that was difficult to deal with. The trash container was full when we arrived and never emptied so we had no place but the garage to store our trash which ripens quickly in 100 degree weather. The patio door was next to impossible to open and close because the tracks had dirt in them. Not all the restrooms had toilet paper when we arrived and the ones that did had almost empty rolls and though there was coffee listed as being provided there were no filters. It's the little details that make a stay great. I know this was their first time renting, if they iron the quirks out we would be happy to return. Like I said the location is great as are their neighbors.
