Description of the Burnsville vacation cabin rental
Browns Creek is a beautiful mountain cabin backing up to a mountain with a great creek twenty feet from the deck. The master bedroom is on the first floor. It has an open plan with a beautiful fireplace, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture and good mattress's. It also has a larage wrap around decking with small decks off upstairs bedrooms with a loft. Nice big bedrooms and baths with a walk in shower in the master. Its clean, comfortable and very pretty. There is a full basement with washer and dryer.
there is a flat screened HD 42 inch tv with dvr and recorders, high speed wireless internet JUST in case you might need it. Every room has a ceiling fan. Cabin has hardwood floors with oriental rugs all around and paintings. You can sit on the front porch and watch the world go by or sit in the back and watch and listen to the beautiful creek!! Its a beautiful place. There is plenty of hiking around and too much to do in one week. There is horseback riding, fishing two miles away in the south toe river famous for brown trout. There is tubing, white water rafting. You can spend the day at Mt. Mitchell, Grandfather Moutain, Asheville and so much more. There is fine dining, casual dining. Little Switzerland is twenty minutes away. Finding emeralds and other fine stones is always a good way to spend the day!!

Area Information
It is a beautiful area with creeks around you and tons of hiking. You can hike to Mt. Mitchell when at the cabin if you like. Mt. Celo is the mountain we are on and it is only 50 feet shorter than Mt. Mitchell. Its a beautiful area we back up to the national forest and it is all around us. We are seven miles to the entrance to the parkway and six miles from Mt. Mitchell Golf Course which is in the top 100 on the east coast. Sitting on our front porch in the glider will lower your blood pressure for sure!!!

Amazing Christmas Getaway!

We spent a week at Browns Creek Cabin over Christmas and had a fabulous time. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and delightfully decorated for the holidays. There is so much more to it than what you can see in the pictures. Everything that we needed for celebrating Christmas was there. The yard is fun-filled, with a creek running though it, a swing, and campfire pit, and gorgeous when covered with snow. Donna is a phenomenal host and responded immediately to all of our questions. It was an amazing Christmas getaway!
