Description of the Butler vacation cabin rental

This log chalet is nestled next to a creek surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest with no other homes around. Only the deer and turkeys will know you are lolling in your private hot tub on the back of the wrap around deck.

The deck is gated to contain large dogs and small children. Lounge chairs for snoozing and listening to the gentle creek as it burbles it's way out of the mountains.

Fully furnished and equipped. Ready for your short or long term stay. Full sized washer and dryer. Kitchen with everything you need to prepare gourmet meals...or just cook on the gas grill outside. And if you really want to rough it...enjoy s'mores around the campfire.

Handicapped accessible. The first floor has a roll in shower, raised bed and the deck can be accessed completely.

Hiking trails on the property. This 140 acres backs up to the Cherokee National Forest which has hunting bear, turkey, grouse, deer in season.

Within ten minutes of a boat launch area and swimming area on Watauga Lake. Waterfalls are an easy hike. Antiquing, drive-in movie theater and so much more.

Great Cabin...Plenty of Room

Quite, Peaceful and beautifully decorated cabin. Fun place for just relaxing with a fire pit outside or a gas fireplace inside. It is also with in 4-5 towns that have nice antique shops with great prices. We stayed 8 days and split our time doing both. The cabin has two master suites with baths which is great for two couples. It has a pool table and hot tub for relaxation time. The kitchen is fully equipped which is necessary because it is about 30 minutes to the nearest restaurant. A plus was a washer and dryer so we did not go home with dirty clothes. Nice wrap around porch for sitting out with our coffee in the mornings.
