Lake Side Cabin: Stay just steps from the water. Sits right on the shore line of Watauga Lake with Boat Slip and Canoe - ideal for those who plan on making their vacation all about the water. This 2 bedroom has the ability to sleep up to 6 utilizing a fold out couch. 550 sq. ft. heated, air-conditioned with a deck, Hot Tub and Grill. Large outdoor Hot Tub looks out over the water. Sleeping arrangements include 2 pillow two Queen Beds & sleeper sofa in the living room. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic get-a-way but can also accommodate a couple of last minute guests you may invite. Large outdoor grill with plenty of grilling utensils makes cooking-out the ideal choice. Indoor kitchen has stove, refrigerator, pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided as well as. In the bath room you’ll even find a hair dryer. Satellite TV in living area and both bedrooms /DVD/WiFi/Paw Friendly.

only 30 minutes away from Boone NC, Blowing Rock NC, Banner Elk NC, and Johnson City TN. Close by attractions and activities include: Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, The Blowing Rock, Sugar and Beech Ski Resorts, Linville Caverns and falls, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, Bristol Motor Speedway, and many more. This is a rental home you will be coming back to over and over again.

Watauga lake is the third cleanest lake in the nation and offers great fishing and boating. Almost all of the lake's shoreline is Cherokee National Forest and therefore not able to be developed. Thrasher's Nest is located on a quiet, less used, part of the lake making it perfect for a quite, relaxing getaway.
