Description of the Cabarete vacation condo rental

A Spacious two-bedroom, two-bath pool-view condominium, situated in the center of Cabarete Bay, one of the most prestigious areas on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. It is only 20 minutes from Puerto Plata International Airport (POP). This fully furnished condo comfortably accommodates six people with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and two queen-sized beds in the second bedroom. The terrace overlooks artistically groomed, tropical gardens surrounding a large swimming pool. Swim in the pool or in Cabarete Bay, just seconds away.

Area Information

A colorful, varied scene takes place outside the gated courtyard of this spacious vacation rental. Cabarete, known for its water sports, is front-row center for adventures in kite boarding, windsurfing, surfing, and laser sailing. As the winds come up in the afternoon, the sky is filled with multicolored sails of all shapes and sizes. Sunbathers, beachcombers, and joggers unwind as children build castles in the sand.

Cabarete village--with a wide selection of surf shops, restaurants and bars--spills onto the beach and is easily accessed from the condo. For those who simply want to relax by the condo pool for a few restful days, anything needed is available at the grocery market or town center, just a short walk from the entrance of Ocean One.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this condo at Ocean Dream. We love it as it is close to everything in walking distance. Just around a path and we are on beautiful cabarete beach and the variety of restaurants that you can eat at are all within a 10 minute walk on the beach which is long and wide The kiters are fascinating to watch they are like coloured balloons all over the water. A little rough to swim in at times and there is no snorkeling The condo has everything that we need and it is peaceful with beautiful gardens. Anything we needed was taken care of immediately by Sonja, our rental manager. We will stay here again year after year. it is a safe area and security is everywhere but even on the downtown streets , you will feel very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful condo with another couple for a week this past May. It's fairly new, contemporary and very spacious. The bedroom we stayed in was not the master suite, but it's quite large and I really liked the fact that it had it's own private bath. The ocean is a short walk from the condo. The condo also has a magnificent pool that we used daily. The best part about this condo is that you can walk to everything: great restaurants, banks, food markets, liquor stores, boutiques, etc. This condo is truly a great find and I am already planning a return trip next year!

We had such a great time and felt so comfortable in Cabarete (and in this condo!), that we came back to it twice! When you find something that works, sometimes it is just easy to repeat the experience. From the check-in and delivery of our bags to our room by the staff, to the long walks on the beach, we had nothing to do but relax and get some sun! Stores, restaurants and beach are all around you, and if you don't want to venture out too far, the pool at the condo is wonderful and quiet. It is also kid-friendly, so it was nice to see parents with their kids enjoying their time alongside us. The condo itself had everything we needed to feel comfortable and like we were at home. We definitely will plan a 3rd trip, and would choose to stay in this condo again I am sure.

Everything went great! We had a wonderful time and your condo is absolutely lovely. We mostly just chilled on the beach. We did some deep sea fishing but it was unsuccessful. We also went on this waterfall and village excursion kinda thing. That was pretty cool. Over all we just relaxed and relaxed some more! It was exactly what we needed.

Even though the trip was booked in the low season, we had a great time. The condo was beautiful and fully furnished, it was really more than we really expected.... We went to the clubs on the beach (Bamboo), and a few restaurants and clubs in Sosua.

The easy walk to the beach, the amazing restaurants just outside your door and the great shopping are all just steps away.
