Area Description
The surrounding area includes the 845,00 acres of the Chequamegon Nat'l Forest, Copper Falls State Park, numerous lakes, rivers, and many friendly neighbors...all within minutes of our retreat! Back roads for biking, four ski hills only 35 minutes away, summer time music festivals, Lake Superior kayaking and row boating, guided fishing and biking trips. Cities like Hayward, Bayfield, and Ironwood/Hurley all within 35 minutes.
World's largest disc golf (frisbee) complex with 6 courses and completing a total of 10 courses in 2010. Developing marathons for all seasons at the present time.
