Description of the California Delta vacation cottage rental

Waterfront new large manufactured home situated at the sandy swim beach area of Snug Harbor in the California Delta region. This home is great for 2 families or group reunions. Very large kitchen and living room with wonderful covered porch looking onto swim beach and Steamboat Slough. Kitchen has plates, utensils and glasses for up to 12 people and basic cooking utensils, can opener, coffee maker, microwave, stove and large fridge with ice maker. Bring your own pots and pans though. Master bedroom has queen bed and extra sleeping matts stored in huge walk-in closet. Master bath has double shower heads. Each other bedroom has queen/twin bunk bed sets. New expensive good matresses. Sleep like a baby! Full or queen size sleeper couch in the living room. Bring your own linens and towels. Snug Harbor is peninsual off Ryer Island, so its rural and quiet, away from city noises. Dock space for your ski boat or PWC available nearby at additional cost. Great water ski and wakeboard area, and fishing here brings in striper, black bass, catfish, and seasonally salmon and steurgeon. Fish off the docks-don't need a boat to catch one here!

The California Delta is located between San Francisco and Sacramento. We're 36 miles from downtown Sacramento. Rio Vista is the closest city, about 10 minutes away by car or boat, where you can get groceries, bait, medical care, etc. There's over 30 restaurants nearby you can boat to or drive to. There's 2 golf courses nearby and a great little museum in Rio Vista. The delta is best known for its 1000 miles of fresh water rivers and sloughs with neet quiet places to tie off your boat and enjoy sunshine and family time. This home is located within the Snug Harbor community, which is a peninsula off Ryer Island. Snug Harbor has a covered berth marina, waterfront RV sites, cabin rentals and a small seasonal gas dock and store. But its better to do your shoping in Rio Vista as its a lot less. Steamboat Slough has been written about since the 1860's when the old steamers went by transporting folks to Sacramento in the Gold Rush days. Huge trees and shade plus all the water around make it a little cooler than other areas of the delta.

• Required Stay: 3 night minimum Summer, 2 night minimum all other times
   
• Deposits: 25% or first night, which ever is greater. Balance due 21 days prior to arrival.
   
• Other Fees: For extra parking, boat dock space, boat launch use etc charged by Snug Harbor. There's also $1000 security deposit on check in, that is refunded if you leave the place as clean as you found it.
