Description of the Camaiore vacation home rental

The house has two floors: on the ground floor there is a living room with armchairs and sofa, TV (satellite), a large double bedroom with bathroom and another WC.

Also on the ground floor is a large kitchen, which is fitted out with stone counters and cabinet, a traditional barbecue, a large table for meals, dishwasher, microwave and all the things are necessary. The kitchen and the living room open on to the large paved solariun, with outdoor furniture, a stone oven, and really spectacular views over Camaiore hills and mountains.

On the first floor there are two bedroom, one with two beds (one of them on a mezzanine floor) and another one with one single bed and a double bed on mezzanine floor. All the bedroom have the TV (local reception)

This old-fashioned house has been fully and recently modernised, with chestnut beams retaining the Tuscan local character.

Area Description

There is a large parking and a very nice garden and vineyard. The location is really wonderful for visiting Western and central Tuscan towns: Pisa, Florence, Pistoia, Lucca, Carrara are within an hour, Viareggio, where is the beach, is 15 minutes, and the countryside and mountains are spectacular. A wonderful base for sightseeing, hiking, mountaineering, hourse riding (for details you can ask to the owner). Nearby there are supermarkets and restaurants within a few minutes drive.

Only 15 minutes to the beach.
Only 40 minutes from Pisa airport (Ryanair, BA, and major carriers), 50 minutes from Florence airport, with excellent connections to major European cities. Also accessible from Milan (3.5hr). Car hire at all airports (e.g. Europcar, Budget, Hertz, Avis) with easy pick up and drop off at airport. - 15 mins easy access to house from A11/12 Viareggio Nord motorway exit.

We, a mixed group of 8 people, spent a wonderful week in Casa Lucia. We absolutely loved the fantastic accommodation and its beautiful garden! The kitchen makes for a nice way to stay in. Also the owner was very helpful from the very beginning and gave a great assistance to us. We recommend it highly to anyone wishing to enjoy a great holiday in Tuscany!

We have just returned after staying 2 weeks at CasaLucia. We had a fantastic time - the house is just wonderful with plenty of room for our two families, a lovely garden and great facilities - simply everything you need for a happy holiday. The location is perfect - secluded but central with amazing countryside and views. Great service from the owner! We can definitely recommend CasaLucia!!

We loved this place. The house and the garden is spacious and suited two families very well. The landscape and the views of the area around is great and stands in contrast to the flat and dull area near the ocean. We can very well spend another week here.

Casa Lucia lived up to its promises. Decor was lovely, great accommodation for a large family. It is in a lovely location on the edge of Camaiore, easy travelling distance to places to visit in the area. We particularly enjoyed the views, the Sunday morning cyclists and visiting the local area.
