Cute Cambria Cottage-Ocean View (#39429)

Write a review quiet secluded, view of the ocean from the hill side, i loved the cottage. I exceptionally loved the setting in the cottage, that would be my ideal place to stay for a week. I would be very content staying there, waking up and sitting in the corner chair reading a good book, and enjoying the view. Close to the scenic dr, within walking distant to main street,truly a place to stay in as my home and enjoy. Or a great weekend retreat, to cuddle up with your loved one and enjoy total quietness and peace. Karen and her husband are great hostess, left us alone, and provided us with anything we needed Karen and Earl were most gracious hosts. The cottage is amply furnished with all the thoughtful amenities that one looks for when traveling away from home. The location is perfect for anyone desiring to savor the charm of California's central coast. Whether experiencing San Luis Obispo, wine country, secluded beaches or breath taking sunsets, we loved it all! Karen and Earl go to the extra mile to make you feel like home. Their place is impeccable and clean, very well stocked. The neighborhood is lovely and the neighbors friendly. We stayed two days over the weekend and didn't see much of the hosts, their home has its own private entry. I menrioned to Karen that were planning on going Wine Tasting with our young kids, and she took the time to look for possible winery destinations where they would have fun, as well as other area attractions. I highly recommend this 3 bed cottage, the sunset view was incredible, as well as the nearby sound of the ocean! We will definitely be back! Fabulous location...close to all things in Cambria, wonderful view of the ocean and sunsets. Comfortable and spacious rooms, beds, lots of windows, nice private deck. Lovely warm hosts! I want to make this one of my regular getaways on the Central Coast. Thank you! Karen and Earl are very accomodating and kind. We had a motorcycle and car which they graciously made room for. The cottage was comfortable and the rate was fair. We will return for sure. This guest house was a terrific solution for us because we prefer to travel with our dogs. There was far more room than we really needed for just the two of us (the unit can easily sleep 4 adults between the upstairs room and the downstairs queen bed). There's even a twin bed in the loft area upstairs for additional sleeping space. The kitchen was clean and functional. The one bathroom is downstairs, making the unit perhaps a better 'privacy' fit for a family than for two couples (since the downstairs queen bed isn't separated from the living room and kitchen area). All-in-all this is a really nice, clean unit that served us well. The hosts (charming folks who live in the main house immediately adjacent to this unit) were available when we arrived to greet us but were quiet throughout the duration of our stay-- we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves and never felt like we were 'sharing' the property. Relying on the pictures and the reviews, I took my family for a 4-day trip and it was fantastic. Karen, you are amazing, so thoughtful. The cottage exemplifies how much you care for your guests staying there. Views are beautiful, close to everything. I already miss my coffee in the morning and my wine at sunset on the terrace. I can't wait to return to work to tell all my friends about it. I will definitely have many returns. Thank you and Earl for being wonderful hosts. This was a lovely cottage that was thoughtfully stocked and decorated. Great location to town and Moonstone Beach. The owners were very kind and conscientious. Despite the fact that the cottage was on their property, we did not see them much at all. This cottage is a gem and you will be glad you stayed here. Very roomy, attention to detail, many little extras. We felt pampered in a very relaxed beach cottage atmosphere. We highly recommend. This place was such a great deal! very clean, nice owners, great view. So cute! very confortable. I stayed with my two dogs and husband and we both loved it! You get alot of room for the price. We looked around Cambria and everything was so expensive and small. This was perfect!

We truly enjoyed our "weekend getaway" in your cute guest cottage. It was quite spacious for 2 people and a short walk to town and the beach. Very reasonable rates, too! K & J from SD
