Description of the Cambria vacation home rental

"Leopold Cove" is a beautiful Oceanfront Home located on the Central Coast of California. It has fabulous ocean views and access to the water from a private stairway. The living area has large plate glass windows that feature 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean. A comfortable platform style bed & a warm, cozy fireplace are also located in the living area so you can relax for hours, or even days, enjoying the beauty that surrounds you. There is a full kitchen & a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds. The property also has a picnic area & places to sit, perhaps with a good book or a glass of wine while you watch the sunset. If you are a nature lover, you will enjoy the otters, seals & birdlife that we are privileged to have so close to us. During the gray whale migration times, this is a perfect spot to view these magnificent creatures.

Area Information

You will have access to many Central Coast attractions from Cambria. Cambria itself is a charming village that features galleries, shops, a playhouse, local music and a variety of dining options, as well as a beautiful environment. Big Sur and Hearst Castle are to the north and the Wine vineyards are to the East. There is a city airport and train station in San Luis Obispo. I hope you will visit soon.

Relax at the Ocean

Our stay at Leopold Cove was lovely and relaxing. The view of the ocean from the living room is absolutely fabulous. We watched birds and were mesmerized by the sight and sound of the waves. The house is unusual, with a colorful history, but is very cozy and comfortable. It was a pleasure to visit. We'll be back again.

The minute you walk in, you are amazed at the floor to ceiling windows and the fact you are right on the water, so all you hear is the ocean. The house has great history, the neighborhood is beautiful...deer are abundant and very tame, pelicans are amusing to watch while you sit on the patio...this house is a magical vacation that takes all your stress away!

One might think that the photographs have been taken imaginatively, and that outside the frame lie all manner of shortcomings, but this is quite definitely not the case. Best Birthday ever

My wife surprises me every year with a Birthday trip. This was one of the best ever. It was warm, cozy, romantic and comfortable. We spent most of our time just hanging out and eating and drinking outside watching the ocean and wild life including a skunk and turkey vulture. There was a huge storm for 2 days that had awesome waves and sounds. We Will be back!!!
