Description of the Camden vacation apartment rental

This cozy studio apartment is the loft above my art studio in our newly built barn. It has all wood interior with a small Balcony overlooking Lincolnville Beach. It has a charming lay out with a cathedral ceiling in the sitting area. The Loft sleeps 3 but is perfection for two. There is a Queen size bed and a built in single bed. There is a good size bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking. We are within walking distance to a sandy beach, the ferry to Islesboro, four restaurants, and a small grocery store. We are 6 miles from Camden with all of its attractions. The Studio is fully winterized so the Loft is available for weekly rental off season. Experience the flowers in Spring, the foliage during the Fall, and in the Winter ski 10 minutes away, at the Camden Snow Bowl, a great little mountain that overlooks Penobscot Bay and the Islands. Cute cozy loft!

My husband and I stayed in the loft with our 6 month old son in August. It was perfect! Though very cozy it had everything we needed to make our own meals, the loft was squeaky clean ( including the bathroom). It stayed decently cool even on the hot days with the fan on. There is a great ocean view that provides a perfect spot to watch the sun rise. We weren't able to enjoy the balcony due to the acorns falling from the tree but I'm sure any other time of year it would have been a nice spot to drink your morning coffee! We were very close to the beach and Camden, Me was just a short drive. The landlords are very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

What a crazy year for acorns! They were very early this year, normally after Labor Day they start to fall. I am very glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you can return!

My husband and I recently went on a vacation to Maine. We wanted a place with a small kitchen. Finding David and Maria's beach loft made our stay all that more enjoyable. Lincolnville is centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. From the many galleries in Rockport to a magnificent and inexpensive lobster/seafood eatery in Belfast Camden treated us to lovely little shops and a Windjammer cruise on the Olad out of the Camden Harbor. The Ocean View Beach Loft was a perfect ending to each day. Maria and David's charming loft overlooks the Penobscot Bay. The sunrises are stunning, and the sea air drifts in through the open windows and screen door that lead onto a quaint little deck. This was a perfect spot to catch the lovely sunrise on canvas. The charm of their decorating adds to the already darling beach loft. They share with their visitors a place stocked with anything you could think of, and we did end up bringing most everything home. The beach loft is in a very quiet area. The most noise we heard came from a pair of Common Loons in a marshy area behind the loft. At the end of our stay, they invited us into their home to get to know each other. We were treated to their warm hospitality and their son playing his guitar in another room. We were absolutely spoiled in staying here, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. We have other relatives who come to the Camden area, and who we have strongly suggested they look into the Ocean View Beach Loft. Maine is a pristine area, filled with warm locals, thank you so much for helping us find the perfect place, and such kind people to share their place with us. Oh, and the price, it was absolutely amazing in comparison to anything else we considered. Thank you Vacation Home Rentals.

Wonderful Writers 8 weeks

What a delightful location for writing, hikeing, beach time and lobsters all within sight. The loft was comfortable, well equipped and convenient to many of the highly sought after tourist locations in Mid Coast Maine. A view of the beach, and the ferry landing. I would recommend without hesitation. This is an upstairs property, not suitable for those who have trouble with stairs. Lovely in all other ways.
