Description of the Camden vacation chalet rental

This property is actually located in Union, just west of Camden. This is a log sided chalet style furnished 2 bedroom property with 2 baths, laundry, full kitchen, DirecTV, and all linens, furnishings, ware, and items necessary for a relaxing vacation available. There is a "Bunkhouse" (3rd bedroom) located 30 feet from the main house on this private 1/2 acre lot along the shores of Crawford Lake that is accessible only via a private road. Although 6 people can sleep at this property, it is assumed that it will be a mixture of children and adults. This is NOT a property for three adult couples.

The bedrooms include a large King Suite upstairs with a bath/shower (toilet & sink). The second bedroom downstairs has a full size bed just off a bathroom with shower and laundry. There is a futon couch that turns into a bed in the living room area as well as a full size bed in the "bunkhouse" that is located 30 feet from the main house. The "bunkhouse" is a nice retreat for a couple wishing privacy from the "crowd" in the main house and has been quite popular in the past at our other properties. We also have a crib available on-site for those with toddlers/infants.

On the waterfront, there is a long dock with 6 feet of water at the end . Crawford is well known for Bass fishing. The lake is the only lake in the area that has no public access, so on most days, you can have your choice of coves to go fishing in.

The property has an expansive waterfront access with incredible views to the west promising mid-day sun all as well as spectacular sunrises.

The property is 12 miles west of Camden and Rockland, home of the world famous Lobster Festival. Each year in Union, there is the Maine Antiques Show and the Union Fair - both in August. Nearby Union village host the oldest Common in the state as well as a grocery and locally famous restaurant famous for serving a great breakfast (Hannibals). While in a quite rural location, the property is less than 5 minutes to several stores offering pizza, movie rentals, and other necessities.

We offer a 17' boat with 115hp motor for water skiing at an additional cost (left).
