This vacation home is located across form the Samoset Resort. It is on the same street and only a few minutes walk from the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse.

Area Information

This home is located on the Rockland/Rockport city line. It is 5 minutes to downtown Rockland, 10 minutes from downtown Camden, 30 Minutes to Port Clyde. It is 5 minutes from the ferry to North Haven and Vinalhaven Islands. We are truly located convenient to just about everything in midcoast Maine. You can also take day trips to L.L. Bean in Freeport, Boothbay Harbor or Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park.

Excellent Spot!

We just spent a week at this rental and we had a wonderful time. The house is great with good sized baths, lots of space, excellent kitchen and a good location. We would recommend this rental to anyone. It was great to walk to the lighthouse. A very convenient location. Looking forward to next year.

Several mornings a week I would sit on the back porch and watch the mail boats and schooners drift out of the bay and into the Atlantic. The location is ideal for watching water traffic. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has state of the art appliances. My evenings were spent gazing at the plentiful stars and planets. This was an ideal locaton and dwelling for a special Maine experience.
