It is 5 minutes from the ferry to North Haven and Vinalhaven Islands. We are truly located convenient to just about everything in midcoast Maine. You can also take day trips to L.L. Bean in Freeport, Boothbay Harbor or Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park.

Several mornings a week I would sit on the back porch and watch the mail boats and schooners drift out of the bay and into the Atlantic. The location is ideal for watching water traffic. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has state of the art appliances. My evenings were spent gazing at the plentiful stars and planets. This was an ideal locaton and dwelling for a special Maine experience.
